Police Search for 27 Year Old Danielle Jelinek Missing Since 12/9/12 in Chisago City, MN

Danielle Jelinek has been was reported missing on Sunday, December 9, 2012in Chisago Count, Minnesota. The Chisago County police department received a call from Jelinek’s family on Sunday afternoon and went on a welfare check to a residence in Chisago Lake Township where she was last seen. Upon conducting the welfare check at the home of Jelinek’s on-again/off-again boyfriend, 28-year-old Aaron Schnagl located on the 11200 block of 261st Street, Schnagl was uncooperative. The police executed a search warrant. Police found Jelinek’s purse, shoes and cell phone at the home. However, they also found drugs and arrested Schnagl for drug possession. The Chisago County Sheriff’s Office says it’s treating this as a missing person case
Duncan says deputies found personal items belonging to Jelinek inside the residence and arrested a man there for drug possession. The sheriff did not confirm whether that man is a suspect in Jelinek’s disappearance.
Jelinek’s sister Corey says the family will meet with investigators Tuesday afternoon to discuss the case and learn more about what may have happened to Danielle. Until then, deputies will continue investigating the case with help from the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension (BCA).
