Goldberg has been accused of numerous sex acts with female children under the age of 10. United States authorities will be extraditing Richard Steve Goldberg back to the US.

Long Beach authorities claim Goldberg engaged in sexual acts with girls under the age of 10 in 2001. He also produced images of the sex acts, which were later found on his computer, according to the FBI.

Goldberg was being held by Canadian authorities for violating Canadian immigration laws and was scheduled to be in court on Monday, Eimiller said.

Goldberg was expected to be extradited to the United States. He will face state and federal charges, including sexual exploitation of children, unlawful flight to avoid prosecution, six counts of lewd acts upon a child and two counts of possession of child pornography, Eimiller said. (Fox News)

America’s Most Wanted, History of Goldberg’s criminal actions

Long Beach, California police say Richard Goldberg molested six young girls under ten years old from January through May of 2001. They say that he took pictures of himself with the young girls and stored them on his computer. Police fear Goldberg may have disseminated the pornography via the internet.

Police say that Goldberg was “found out”  on May 11, 2001. That’s when cops say two young girls playing on Goldberg’s computer saw an image of two of their young friends naked with their next door neighbor. A full investigation was launched and six neighborhood kids reported being sexually assaulted by Goldberg. Agents discovered several pieces of child pornography on his computer, including photos of Goldberg himself, engaged in sex acts with children.

Tip snares alleged child molester on FBI top 10 list

LOS ANGELES, California (CNN) — A tip from a Canadian resident ended Richard Steve Goldberg’s stint on the FBI’s Ten Most Wanted Fugitives list, and the alleged child molester is now awaiting extradition, the bureau said.

According to the Web site for the television show, “America’s Most Wanted,” Goldberg had been seeing a nonprofit counselor under the alias Terry Wayne Kearns. He allegedly told the counselor he was an American fugitive, but the charges against him were “trumped up,” the Web site said.
