Global Warming: Not a Concern For Democratic Candidates

Posted in: Global Warming

Private jetsIf you are a little person, the Democratic Candidates for President want you to be terrified of Global Warming. The clarion call of fear, uncertainty, and doubt about your lightbulb choices are paramount to the politicians concerns.

However, if you are one of these self appointed Presidential candidates, you are obviously exempt from any action that would help the environment. Case in point, look at how the candidates arrived for the first Presidential debate held in South Carolina. They all arrived on private jets, one of the worst pollution, CO2, or any other environmental degradation device.

But remember, if you are one of the Hollywood elite or leading Democratic politicians, you have the right to condemn actions by others that you commit yourself.

A flock of small jets took flight from Washington Thursday, each carrying a Democratic presidential candidate to South Carolina for the first debate of the political season.

For Sens. Hillary Rodham Clinton, Barack Obama, Chris Dodd and Joe Biden, it was wheels up shortly after they voted in favor of legislation requiring that U.S. troops begin returning home from Iraq in the fall.

No one jet pooled, no one took commercial flights to save money, fuel or emissions. All but Biden, who flew on a private jet, chartered their flights — a campaign expense of between $7,500 and $9,000. via Newsday.com
