Democrats Say …“Government Is The Only Thing We All Belong To” … Hmm, I Thought the Government Belonged to We the People?

Put aside all of the political rhetoric, all of the attack ads, and all of the pleas using emotion rather than the present economic facts, if you ever wanted to know the difference between the Republican and Democrat party, one needs to look no further than the below VIDEO where Democrats put forth their true belief … “Government Is The Only Thing We All Belong To”.

HUH? Looks the the fine folks at the Jawa Report are scratching their heads as well. Over at Michelle Malkin they say, hey tyrants, speak for yourself. Isn’t it peculiar that every so often the Democrats get full of themselves, let down their veil and expose us to what their real mind set is. As Doug Ross opines, the Dems have let down their mask and We the People are just perplexed as to how a Party could have drifted so far to the LEFT.

In all of America’s political history, you could probably not find a single opening statement at a convention more at odds with America’s founding.

Make no mistake about it America, as the GOP believes and espouses and as Mitt Romney tweeted, WE THE PEOPLE DO NOT BELONG TO THE GOVERNMENT … THE GOVERNMENT BELONGS TO US!!!

 The Democratic National Convention has signaled from the start an unapologetic, and at times, confrontational, liberalism, marked by details like the presence of reproductive rights activist Sandra Fluke.

A video that showed on the convention floor Tuesday night offered an unusually direct embrace of the role of government in American life: “Government,” says the narrator, “is the only thing that we all belong to.”

Sorry America, the Democrat Party has been hijacked by the radical, unhinged Left. This is not only not your father’s or grandfathers Democrat party any more, its not the one I knew from the 80′s or 90′s either.
