It just doesn’t get any more strange in the life of Anna Nicole Smith. Reports are that she was found unconscious and unresponsive in her Florida hotel room.

February 8, 2007 – CBS News was reporting Thursday afternoon that one-time Mexia chicken restaurant waitress turned Playboy model turned heiress turned reality TV star Anna Nicole Smith has been found unconscious in her hotel room in Hollywood, Fla.

CNN reported that Smith collapsed at a casino and that CPR was performed at the scene. (KWTX)

(CNN) — Reality TV star and former model Anna Nicole Smith is dead, a law enforcement source told CNN.

Fox News is also reporting that Anna has passed according to her attorney, Anna Nicole Smith Is Dead, Her Lawyer Says.

Emergency responders performed CPR at the scene and a breathing apparatus was inserted in her throat, hotel officials told TMZ.com. Smith was immediately transported to Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood just after 2 p.m. EST.

One one the most troubled celebrities of our times has died. Anna Nicole’s rise and fall from stardom were the ultimate reality show. A reality which many are not at all too surprised. A private nurse called 911 after finding Smith unresponsive in her sixth-floor room, said Seminole Police Chief Charlie Tiger. He said Smith’s bodyguard administered cardiopulmonary resuscitation about an hour before she was declared dead. She is believed to have expired on the scene. (Access Hollywood)
