Seems Like Old Times … Back to the Slammer … Joey Buttafuoco Sentenced to One Year in Jail on Parole Violation

Those that forget the past are destined to repeat it. Such is the case with Joey Buttafuoco. ButtafuocoSome people just cannot stay out of the news, nor trouble. The 50 year old Joey Buttafuoco, whose one time “Long Island Lolita” girl friend Amy Fisher shot his wife in the face is now in trouble again. This time its possession of ammunition in direct violation of his felony insurance fraud conviction.

Buttafuoco turned himself in at a county courthouse. He was supposed to surrender in Superior Court in November, but a judge allowed him to remain free for the holidays.

Buttafuoco, 50, pleaded no contest in July to illegally possessing ammunition. The case stemmed from a search of his Chatsworth home in 2005 by the Los Angeles County Probation Department.

At the time, Buttafuoco was on probation for a felony insurance fraud conviction. (AP)

Along with the jail term, Buttafuoco also must serve three years on probation.
