Two Suspects Arrested in Tulsa Shootings (Alvin Watts & Jacob England) … Charged with three counts of murder (UPDATE: Suspects Father Murdered 2 Years Ago … UPDATE: Jake England Left Message on Facebook)

The police have made two arrests in the Tulsa, Oklahoma shooting deaths. The two suspects arrested have been identified as 19 year old Jake England and 32 year old Alvin Watts. The two will be charged with three counts of murder and two counts of shooting with intent to kill. The police say that England and Alvin Watts are responsible for the shooting deaths of Dannaer Fields, William Allen and Bobby Clark.

Authorities in Oklahoma arrested two people early Sunday in connection with a deadly spate of apparently random shootings in Tulsa that have had residents on edge.

About 30 representatives from four law enforcement agencies — the Tulsa police, Tulsa County Sheriff’s Office, the U.S. Marshals Service and the FBI — had been working around the clock looking for the person that authorities say killed three people and wounded two others in shooting attacks early Friday.

The police identified the arrested men as Jake England, 19, and Alvin Watts, 32. They were taken into custody from a home in Tulsa.

UPDATE I: The father of murder suspect Jake England was murdered two years ago.

Carl England was shot to death at the Comanche Park Apartments April 5, 2010, in what police believed was a domestic dispute. On Sunday, 19-year-old Jake England was arrested for murders committed on Good Friday, April 6.

UPDATE II:  Comments on Jake England’s FACEBOOK look like they hold answers to why he might have gone on a murder spree. Although his Facebook is no longer available, the following post was on his wall which speaks volumes.It would seem that those targeted were intentional and the murders were on the two year anniversary of his dad’s murder. 40 year old Pernell Jefferson is serving six years in prison for killing Jake England’s father, Carl. That’s it? Jake England will be serving the rest of his life for the murders he is alleged to have done.

Investigators said Sunday they were reviewing England’s Facebook page, which indicated he may have targeted blacks after his father was shot and killed by a black man. The shootings coincided with the second anniversary of his father’s death.

“There is a link between the two,” Willingham said. “Was that his only motive? We don’t know. We’re assuming that was a driving force.”

England’s Facebook page appeared to have been taken down Sunday, but the Daily Mail and others posted screen shots and quotations from it.

“I’m gone in the head. Today is two years that my dad has been gone,” England wrote on the page Thursday, using a racial slur to refer to the person who shot his father.

Carl England, 47, was shot April 5, 2010, during a fight about a quarter-mile east of where Allen’s body was found. The man arrested in connection with Carl England’s shooting was Pernell Demond Jefferson, a convicted felon. Jefferson was convicted of pointing a firearm and is serving a prison sentence through October 2014, according to Oklahoma Department of Corrections records.
