Gee, who could not have seen this coming … Obamacare hurts President Barack Obama’s reelection bid in 2012.

Obamacare is a net negative for Barack Obama in battleground states in his 2012 reelection bid. Obama, Democrats and the MSM thought we would forget by now that they forced Obamacare down the throats on the American people. They were wrong. In battleground states like Michigan, Ohio, Virginia, Colorado, Iowa, Florida, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Mexico, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin are all negatively impacted by Obamacare. What does this say about Obama’s signature legislation that so many are against it?

In a USA TODAY/Gallup Poll of the nation’s dozen top battleground states, a clear majority of registered voters call the bill’s passage “a bad thing” and support its repeal if a Republican wins the White House in November. Two years after he signed the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act— and as the Supreme Court prepares to hear arguments about its constitutionality next month — the president has failed to convince most Americans that it was the right thing to do.

“Mandating that you have to buy the insurance rubs me the wrong way altogether,” says Fred Harrison, 62, a horse trainer from York County, Pa., who was among those surveyed and supports repeal even though he likes some provisions of the law. “It should be my own choice.”

Obamacare is an albatross for Obama. It won’t go away and will be a deciding factor for many on the fence voters in 2012. As reported at The Hill, Obama fading in head-to-head matchups with Romney, Santorum. When “We the People” look at the specifics of what Obama has done in his first term vs. what the MSM wants to spin Obama’s accomplishment as … there is no question as to the choice that America is headed in the wrong direction. Even worse for President Obama is the fact that Obamacare and the “individual mandate” will be reviewed by the SCOTUS prior to the 2012 election. A majority of Americans are in opposition to Obamacare. So what’s worse for Obama, the SCOTUS knocking down his legislation or the SCOTUS enraging “We the People” prior to the 2012 election and voting for the government take over of healthcare? When 72% of Americans think that Obamacare in Unconstitutional, Barack Obama and the Democrats, you have a real problem. Its a lose-lose for Obama.

It’s not just Obama who will have to explain Obamacare in 2012 … many Democrat US Senators will also need to justify their vote and going against the will of the American people.
