Jimmy Carter Never Met a Dictator He Didn’t Like, Carter Sends Condolences to Kim Jong-il

Posted in: Democrats,Jimmy Carter,North Korea,WTF

Jimmy Carter never met a dictator he did not like. Keep up the good work …

Yet another reminder why President Jimmy Carter is considered one of the worst ever in American history. Former President Carter sent North Korea a message of condolence over the death of Kim Jong-il. HUH? In his note he actually wished “every success” to┬áKim Jong Un, the man expected to take over as dictator. Ever wonder why Carter was swept out of office in a landslide?

Former President Jimmy Carter has sent North Korea a message of condolence over the death of Kim Jong-il and wished “every success” to the man expected to take over as dictator, according to the communist country’s state-run news agency.

A dispatch from the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) said Mr. Carter sent the message to Kim Jong-un, Kim Jong-il’s son and heir apparent.

“In the message Jimmy Carter extended condolences to Kim Jong Un and the Korean people over the demise of leader Kim Jong Il. He wished Kim Jong Un every success as he assumes his new responsibility of leadership, looking forward to another visit to [North Korea] in the future,” the KCNA dispatch read.

Condolences for a dictator who ruled his people with an iron fist and starved them to death. Seriously? How did the well wishes to the dictator in waiting read, your dad starved many, keep up the good work? This is like a bad joke as many, like Doug Powers at Michelle Malkin, half-heatedly said after the death of Kin Jung-Il, imagine that, I guess Jimmy Carter will read his eulogy and send condolences. Who knew that would become fact?

I am guessing that Jimmy Carter has his condolence letters all ready to go for Cuba’s Fidel Castro and Venezuela’s Hugo Chavez.
