Obama’s VP Joe Biden Says, “The Taliban Is Not Our Enemy” … HUH?

Posted in: 2012 Elections,Barack Obama,Joseph Biden,Presidential Election,Taliban,Terrorism,War on Terror,WTF

More unreal and unbelievable comments from the mouth of the Obama Administration when it comes to terrorism. This time it’s Vice President Joe Biden who says in an interview with the Daily Beast, “the Taliban really isn’t our enemy.” How did these people ever get elected? Ok America, how are you feeling about Obama’s foreign policy again?

Look, the Taliban per se is not our enemy. That’s critical. There is not a single statement that the president has ever made in any of our policy assertions that the Taliban is our enemy because it threatens U.S. interests. If, in fact, the Taliban is able to collapse the existing government, which is cooperating with us in keeping the bad guys from being able to do damage to us, then that becomes a problem for us.

As Weasel Zippers states, this might come as a surprise to the US troops fighting in Afghanistan. Clueless, or is this what folks like Biden and Obama really believe? You might want to ask yourself that question just before you vote in 2012. If the Taliban is not our enemy, maybe Barack Obama would like to explain why we are fighting the war in Afghanistan, per se?
