A lesson in how not to get ahead: Teen understudy, Katherine Smith, put Clorox in lead actress’s soda

Posted in: Bizarre,Crime,Politics

A Texas teenager, Katherine Smith (18), is accused of putting Clorox in her fellow Katherine Smithactress’s drink in order to to gain the leading role in a school play. What poses todays youth to think that such actions as spiking another’s bottle of Mountain Dew with Clorox is actually acceptable behavior?

Maybe its because of such role models as Democrat NY State Comptroller Alan Hevesi, who actually thought is was perfectly fine to say the following comment at a commencement ceremony at Queens College threatening the President of the United States.

State Comptroller Alan Hevesi publicly apologized Thursday for a “beyond dumb” remark about a fellow Democrat putting “a bullet between the president’s eyes.”

Of course within an hour of the comment, Alan Hevesi and his PR team was in full mew culpa and apology mode. It would make one think, by the extreme quickness of the apology as to why anyone would have such poor judgment as to make the comment in the first place.

“I apologize to the president of the United States” and to the fellow state Alan Hevesipolitician, Sen. Charles Schumer, Hevesi said. “I am not a person of violence.

“I am apologizing as abjectly as I can. There is no excuse for it. It was beyond dumb.”

“I do speak extemporaneously,” he said. “And I’ve never said anything like this.”

“Comptroller Hevesi was trying to make a point,” Heller said. “He went way too far, and it was inappropriate and wrong. He has apologized to both the senator and the president, and we believe that ends the matter.”

What possible point could one possibly be making with such a comment?  However, today’s political leaders feel it ok to spout off and say anything no matter how harsh or who it hurts. If they are made to apologize later. oh well.

And we wonder where our youth takes their queues from?
