Barack Obama Explains His Low Poll Numbers Due to High Gas Prices

Speaking at a fund raiser in California, President Barack Obama suggested that his low and falling poll numbers are a result of the rising gas prices. Hmm, did Obama just admit that he had low job approval polling numbers?  As reported at The Hill:

Speaking to supporters at his sixth fundraising event in California, Obama conceded that gas prices are having an effect on how people view his administration, but indicated he is prepared to weather the storm.

“My poll numbers go up and down depending on the latest crisis and right now gas prices are weighing heavily on people,” he told a gathering of backers at a Los Angeles restaurant, according to a pool report.

Really Mr. President, you think your low poll numbers are just because of gas prices? if that is the case, wait until they spike to $5 and $6 nationally. Of course Americans pain at the pump have a direct affect on people’s mood;  however, it is more than just that. Gasoline was not an issue when the Democrats took a shellacking in the 2010 midterm elections.  Polling numbers are not just a result of crisis, they are a result of policies, agenda and how you handle a crisis. Or in Obama’s case, a multitude of crisis’s he created. Libya comes to mind.

JOBS & GAS PRICES WILL WEIGH ON OBAMA FROM NOW UNTIL 2012.

This President has done little to improve either. In fact his policies and liberal agenda have most likely made the job recovery worse and his “green” or nothing energy policy has become a fiasco. Barack Obama is finally learning that there will be know one else to blame except himself in 2012. Obama will not be able to say what he plans to do to solve the problems as he has had 4 years to do so and has done nothing but exacerbate the issues.
