Rasmussen: Poll Shows Obama Beats Karl Rove’s Joke Candidate, Donald Trump, But …

Donald Trump, YOU’RE … POLLING BADLY!

Looks like those who were recently polled by Rasmussen agree with Karl Rove, Trump is a joke candidate.  In a hypothetical match up between President Barack Obama and Donald Trump, Rasmussen says Obama wins 49% to 34%. YIKES!!! Notice the 12% that would not vote for either candidate, that’s rather interesting and troubling for “The One”.

President Obama leads Donald Trump by 15 percentage points in a hypothetical 2012 match-up, but the president is unable to top the 50% level of support even against an opponent some are deriding as a joke.

The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that the president earns support from 49% of Likely Voters nationwide, while Trump attracts the vote from 34%. Given that choice, 12% would vote for some other candidate, and five percent (5%) are undecided.  (To see survey question wording, click here.)

However, there was some very troubling data coming from this poll. As pointed out by Hot Air, even against Rove’s joke candidate Donald Trump, Obama cannot break the 50% mark. As seen by recent hypothetical match ups against GOP candidates, Obama comes no where near the 50% threshold. This should cause much pause for any incumbent.

Don’t worry folks, it would appear that the Apprentice will have no delays, not after the above Rasmussen Poll. After taking a look at these numbers one has to wonder whether Trump is going to throw his money away and run for president. After all, he is supposed to be a shrewed business man, who would spend their own money on a race when you poll at 34%? Personally, I believe Trump will not run but will be a thorn in the side of Obama being a political/business pundit pointing out the ridiculousness of Obama’s policies and agenda that will affect John Q. Public. That would be Trump’s best gift to America.

Obama is in real trouble in the polls and the worst has yet to come. The economic news keeps getting worse for Obama and gas is rising every week. Obama has a -17 Daily Presidential Index with Rasmussen and his job approval is heading downward.
