Who Would Have Thought … Kathleen Parker Splitsville from Spitzer on CNN’s ‘Parker Spitzer’

Posted in: CNN,Media

It was a match made in, um, well, the clueless boardroom of CNN … If you had the over of 5 months, ya lost.

Kathleen Parker and Eliot Spitzer are splitsville.  From the outset, CNN’s “Parker-Spitzer” was unwatchable. I would rather have watched a continuous loop of Barney the Dinosaur with audio of the Purple dino singing , “I Love you” rather than watching Kathleen Parker and Eliot Spitzer, ratings challenged fiasco. CNN states that they are taking the show in a new direction and the new show will be called “In the Arena.” Wow, that sounds like a ratings grabber.

Kathleen Parker, the co-host of “Parker Spitzer,” CNN’s four-month-old, ratings-challenged primetime show, is being dropped from the program, according to sources inside the CNN newsroom. Eliot Spitzer, her co-host, will remain, and beginning on Monday the show will be called “In the Arena.”

Jammie Waring Fool asks #9 to stay classy, sarcasm intended.

From Hot Air, the best analysis of the Parker-Spitzer cable divorce …  ”If America’s most famous liberal-governor-turned-john can’t find television happiness with a Pulitzer-winning “conservative” squish, what hope is there for the rest of us?”
