Incoming US House Republicans Move to repeal Obama Healthcare … 60% Of Voters Want Repeal of Obamacare

REPEAL, REPEAL, REPEAL …

The incoming Republican controlled House of Representatives will move to real Obamacare, its not a threat, its a promise. House Republicans look to hold the vote on the repeal of Obamcare on January 12. However, Senate Democrats warn GOP Speaker to be John Boehner, Don’t bother with healthcare repeal.  Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (NV) and other yop Dems wrote a letter to incoming House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) on Monday warning the new GOP House against advancing legislation that would undo the sweeping healthcare overhaul.  Much more at Sister Toldja … welcome news, indeed.

Republicans in the U.S. House of Representatives plan to pass a bill next week to repeal President Barack Obama’s overhaul of the U.S. healthcare system, a senior party aide said on Monday, but the effort is widely expected to fail in the Senate.

The new Congress will convene on Wednesday with Republicans in control of the House after November’s midterm elections. They are set to move ahead with their campaign promise to try to rescind the new healthcare law, one of Obama’s signature legislative victories.

Brad Dayspring, a spokesman for incoming House Republican leader Eric Cantor, said the House plans to vote on legislation to repeal the healthcare law on Jan. 12.

However, the People’s House is simply doing the will of the people. Something that Democrats completely disregarded when they passed Obamacare against strong opposition of “We the People”.  As reported at The Hill, nearly half of voters with health insurance do not believe President Obama’s promise that they will be able to keep it under the new healthcare reform law. Like Weasel Zippers states, it’s as if they do not trust Obama. Go figure.

Forty-five percent of voters with healthcare insurance believe they will be forced to change coverage, including 26 percent who say it is “very likely,” according to the new Rasmussen Reports poll. Meanwhile, 46 percent said it’s unlikely that they will have to change coverage, including 19 percent who said it is “not at all likely.”

Honestly, who cares whether Democrats plan on blocking the repeal of Obamacare, make them vote on the issue and use it against them in the 2012 elections. Obamacare was and continues to be unpopular. It cost Democrats dearly in the 2010 elections. It will do the same in 2012.
