RSSD-Lister Kathy Griffin Gets Booed By US Troops After Calling Bristol Palin Fat
As reported at Mediaite, not so funny comedian Kathy Griffin was booed by US troops when she called Britol Palin fat while hosting ’VH1 Divas Salute the Troops’. Not only did the “D-List” comedian bomb with her Bristol Palin material with the troops, she went even further and egged the military audience on to boo her even more. How many times must I say this when it comes to humor … hate is not humor, nor is it funny.
One must ask a question as to how you could have a Leftist-hating fool host an event for the troops. UNREAL. It’s not like Griffin does not have a history with going after Bristol Palin’s mom. Who knew that SPDS, Sarah Palin Derangement Syndrome, would spin off a new disease with the LEFT of BPDS.
Comedian and self-proclaimed “D-lister” Kathy Griffin hosted VH1 Divas Salute the Troops which was taped for an audience of servicemen at the Marine Corps Air Station in Miramar, California, and aired last night. The ribald and unconventional comedian set the tone for the night when she joked about Bristol Palin and her supposed weight gain while competing with Dancing With The Stars. But the joke fell flat, as the military men and woman in attendance lustily booed the host for taking a shot at Sarah Palin’s daughter.

Bristol Palin Responds to Kathy Griffin’s ‘Fat’ Attack.
But Palin, 20, isn’t letting 50-year-old Griffin’s digs bring her down.
“The audience’s reaction to this ‘comedian’ spoke volumes, and the decent people I know would probably have booed her, too,” Palin told Pop Tarts in an exclusive statement. “I hope people didn’t have to pay money to hear her negativity and criticisms.”
One really has to ask them self how Kathy Griffin, a classless act, keeps getting hired.

Lesbian comedian Kathy Griffin is responsible for Anorexia nervosa in young women across the country. Demeaning people because they do not agree with your political views. Then hiding behind Iam a “Lesbian comedian” does not give you license to call people fat. Say hello to your girlfriend Margaret Cho in the unemployment line.
Kathy is one of those who must talk trash to be funny. Thats the extent of her talent. If nasty jokes were not allowed on TV she would probably need to sell her body to eat.

It’s about that time of year again when her hemorrhoids start acting up. Remember, once a year she drops the f-bomb live on CNN from Times Square? Everybody acts like it’s funny all over again. By everybody – I mean, the 5 hospice care patients that still watch, stuck in their beds without access to a remote control.
I’d like to add Joy Behar to post 7. Any time these dispute any political facts, they have nothing better to offer than insults and name calling. If they’re so smart and so sure they’re right I would think they’d at least argue thier points with facts that could be looked up, They’re not even bright enough to figure that much.
It also seems like after every highly publicized name calling *debate* they think they’ve won, they also have to proudly retell their story and how they got their point across, so HA!!! claiming to have left the opposition speechless. . Someone needs to at least tell these bimbos that a head tilted to the side with a WTF expression, isn’t necessarily someone who’s just lost the debate and been left speechless,but rather someone who hasn’t debated like this since elementary school and is thinking WTF/HUH?!?!?! for reasons varying from “name calling? no that can’t be all she’s got” and patiently or impatiently, wait for them to get to the actual topic and debatable facts, ….to “wow!!! since when could pet rocks talk?”….to they most asked question…. “how in thee hell was this idiot able to get her own show and who in the world watches it, keeping the ratings up so it’s not cancelled?.

@15 First of all I could not agree more with you about this statement “for an outsider like me it seems that facts are not relevant in US politics. Just fear and smear. ” As an *insider* for lack of a better word, fear and smear have to be waded through to actually research anything political.
I got the brilliant idea last election that some of my kids and I would research together. I thought this would be easy, a learning experience for them and a way I could see who stood for what. WRONG!!! If I asked a question, leaning more towards a pro Dem side, a Rep would slam me with facts and tell me to learn how to read, etc, if I asked a pro Rep question, maybe one out of 100 answers would be a Dem giving me a link to read or a real answer. FINALLY a poster on the Amazon boards sent me an email stating he truly got the impression I was asking honest question and he sent me a couple of on the issue links.
My son made a valid point during it all too. “He said no wonder kids tend to just go with whatever their parents are, this is brutal.”
That’s the problem with us, my family isn’t a set anything and even if they were I still would strongly encourage them to research the candidates and issues of their potential party, as their candidate’s could be different than what they stand for.
Sadly most of what you speak of I’m unfamiliar with, I’ve done little reading on politics since the election. Unless the “deathcamps” is an addition to the said to be rumored “death panels” and if so I only am familiar with that because it’s again been recently brought up again by Paul Krugman. (quote below)

Kind of off topic to this post but important all the same. Generally speaking there will always be new voters, or just people wanting to break out of their parents political mold so to any *already set in their party voter*,when someone asks a question, especially one against what you firmly believe in, it may be just that “a question” so the use of facts/proof would be more helpful, than a bunch of name calling.
Last thing and just a comment to the original post, regardless of political party, or not even politically related, as far as I’m concerned any adult having the need to drag another person, especially a child, into their insults, for a reason as stupid as, I don’t like her mom, is pathetic and an idiot. I’m sure some other so called “comedian” will now have the need to target her parents in their act. As far as I’m concerned that too is wrong but I still can’t help wonder if the family relationship humor, ya know part of the act, will be as funny to her then.
