Just “Plane” Offensive … Plans to Build Mosque in Shadows of Ground Zero Near World Trade Center Moves Forward

Posted in: 9/11,Business,Islamofascist,War on Terror,WTF

Only in America and the Muslims know it … This is just “plane” TASTELESS & OFFENSIVE!!!

PC WILL BE THE DEATH OF US … There are some things that just jump out at you and reek of being so wrong. This is one of them.

This could only be described as what are they thinking and could they possibly rub more salt in the wounds of the families who lost loved one’s on September 11, 2001 when Islamofascists, radical Muslims flew not one, but two planes into the Twin Towers and killed 3000 innocent people.

Does anyone honestly think this is the proper location for a mosque, or have you forgotten?

A 13-story mosque and Islamic cultural center has been approved to be built just steps away from Ground Zero. Could you imagine 1,000 to 2,000 Muslims praying every Friday in the shadows of Ground Zero?

A proposal to build a mosque steps from Ground Zero received the support of a downtown committee despite some loved ones of 9/11 victims finding it offensive.

The 13-story mosque and Islamic cultural center was unanimously endorsed by the 12-member Community Board 1′s financial district committee.

The $100 million project, called the Cordoba House, is proposed for the old Burlington Coat Factory building at Park Place and Broadway, just two blocks from the World Trade Center site.

“I think it will be a wonderful asset to the community,” said committee Chairman Ro Sheffe.

A wonderful asset eh, I dare say there are probably many New Yorkers, US citizens and familes who had loved one’s die on 9-11 that would disagree. Guess what, there are!!! One really has to wonder at the common sense being used and the lack of respect that this committee would have to allow some thing so offensive and has such symbolism as a Muslin mosque so close to the very site that his a living shrine to those murdered by those that killed in the name of Islam.

No one at last night’s meeting protested the project. But some 9/11 families said they found the proposal offensive because the terrorists who launched the attacks were Muslim.

“I realize it’s not all of them, but I don’t want to have to go down to a memorial where my son died on 9/11 and look at a mosque,” said retired FDNY Deputy Chief Jim Riches – whose son Jim, a firefighter, was killed on 9/11.

“If you ask me, it’s a religion of hate,” said Riches, who did not attend last night’s meeting.

Rosemary Cain of Massapequa, L.I., whose son, Firefighter George Cain, 35, was killed in the 2001 attacks, called the project a “slap in the face.”

“I think it’s despicable. That’s sacred ground,” said Cain, who also did not attend the meeting.

“How could anybody give them permission to build a mosque there? It tarnishes the area.”

Why is it that Americans have to prove that we are a tolerant people? Americans have their fellow Americans brutally murdered by Islamic-Fascist cowards and some how we have to bend over an allow a Muslin mosque to be built in the shadows of GROUND HERO. How about no and HELL NO! As Jihad Watch states, we are supposed to continually prove our tolerance, yet expected to accept Islam’s claims of tolerance.

This is beyond tasteless … We have a building that was damaged by debris from the September 11, 2001 Muslim terrorist act that brought down the Twin Towers in NYC about to become a Muslim mosque. So in essence, the only reason why the location is available to be a Muslim mosque is because radical Muslim made it possible and in the process killed 3000 innocent people. One would think that 9-11 families with murdered loved one’s would have deference in such a decision … not Muslim organizations that claim they are doing something good.

Anything having to do with that day, that place, carries enormous meaning. Now two Islamic organizations have partnered to build something that they say will bring some good from something very bad.

Organizers say the project will create a venue for mainstream Islam and a counterbalance to radicalism. It earned a key endorsement this week from influential community leaders.

EXIT QUESTION: What’s next a pro-Neo Nazi Museum on the Temple Mount in Israel?

Hey Jim, thanks for the link!
