Democrat Doug Wilder Thinks Obama Should Make Changes in Team Obama

Posted in: 2010 Elections,2012 Elections,Barack Obama,Obamacare,Obamanation,Obamanomics,Polls,WTF

Is President Barack Hussein Obama really serious about change? How about change in his own team? Hey Barack, how’s that hopey, changey thing working out for ya?

The need is becoming more obvious by the day: He must overhaul his own team, replacing the admittedly brilliant advisers who helped elect him with others more capable of helping him govern. Getting elected and getting things done for the people are two different jobs.

Who said the above, Republican leaders like John Boehner or Mitch McConnell, Sarah Palin, or Conservative talk show hosts like Rush Limbaugh or Sean Hanity? Nope, it was Democrat and former Virgina Governor Doug Wilder.

Doug Wilder is calling on President Barack Obama to make some changes of his own. Namely firing people with in his own team to show the American people that he is serious about hope and change. After one year in office, Obama’s inner circle of advisers has done nothing to advance any hope and change, it has been business as usual Inside the Beltway.

During the 2008 campaign, I strongly endorsed Barack Obama for president. I did so early, when many Democratic leaders — including many prominent African-American politicians — believed the safe bet was to back then-front-runner Hillary Clinton.

I backed Obama not because of skin color but because he convincingly made the case that he stood for “change” that this country needs. Now, across many fronts — in public policy and politics alike — people have rightly been questioning whether the change has been for the better. Unfortunately, the answer so far is clear: not yet.

I still believe Obama can stand for positive change. But first he must make some hard changes of his own.

Wilder obviously is reading the tea leaves and sees the recent Republican victories in New Jersey, Virginia and Massachusetts and knows there  must be a change to stop the bleeding. The definition of insanity it to continue doing the same thing and expecting different results. If changes are not made, Wilder sees a disaster in the 2010 and 2012 elections for Democrats.

Wilder obviously did not get the memo, that if you dare criticize Barack Obama, you will face the wrath of his minions.
