“America is ready for another revolution and you are a part of this.”

Tonight keynote speaker former Alaska governor Sarah Palin brought down the house at the Tea Party Convention in Nashville, TN.  Andrew Breitbart introduced Saracuda and away she went as only Sarah Palin can. Did she deliver to Tea Party Nation … You Betcha!

Sarah Palin rallied the Tea Party nation and the  and the Tea faithful in attendance with criticisms of the current Obama administration, questions of an out of control government spending, national security, the war on terror and the record federal budget deficits that is nothing more than generational theft. While providing red meat issues to the Tea Party faithful, she also provided common sense solutions.

not a professor of law standing at a lectern

Palin made reference to Barack Obama and the Democrats three most recent losses in Virginia, New Jersey and Massachusetts and said, “when you are  o for 3 it is time to stop lecturing and start listening”. Palin discussed Republican Scott Brown’s recent Senate victory in Massachusetts, a man and a truck and a dream to serve the American people, as she stated, “If there’s hope in Massachusetts, there’s hope everywhere,” … “His victory is a sign of more good things to come.”

Let me just be the first to correct Reuters, Sarah Palin did not try to rally conservatives on Saturday night at a national convention of the “Tea Party” movement, Sarah Palin did rally not only Conservatives, but Independents and those that are sick and tired of an non-responsive and non-representative out of control tax and spend government.

The Government that governs least, governs best.

Palin would later ask, “How’s that hope-y, change-y stuff working out for you?” An Obama  slogan of hope and change that swept Obama’s campaign into to the White House, but has been nothing more than a transparent lie.

The criticism from the media and Democrats of the Tea Party is about to come home to roost. What could be wrong with a group of people who believe the following: a government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the earth.

Sarah Palin later went on to discuss foreign policy and the war on terrorism as being handled by Barack Obama. She stated, “we need a foreign policy that distinguishes its friends from its enemies”. Then Palin went after the administration for their handling of the Christmas Day underwear bomber as the situation was not handled well.

Regarding the treatment of Mr. Abdulmutallab, Ms. Palin delivered a blistering attack on Mr. Obama: “There are questions we would have liked this foreign terrorist to have answered before he [was] lawyered up and invoked our constitutional rights to remain silent. … Thanks to you, sir, we’re going to bestow them on a terrorist who wants to destroy our Constitution.”

Sarah palin provided some advice to the fledgling Tea Party movement to remember the big picture and deal with big ideas, something that would make Ronald Reagan proud and a tribute to the Gipper on the 99th anniversary of his birth.

“Each of us here is living proof that you don’t need a title to make a difference,” said Palin. “Let us not get bogged down in the small squabbles. Let us move on to the big ideas. To do so would be a fitting tribute to Ronald Reagan.”

With the 2010 and 2012 elections on the horizon, and the fact that many identify them self with the Tea Party movement, one would think that both the GOP and Democrats take heed of the Tea Party and their common sense and Constitutional approach to government. If not, do so at your own political peril.

UPDATE I: Sarah Palin’s Ready for ‘Another Revolution’ … Tea Party Style

Sarah Palin when talking of the Obama Administration made the comment that they have blamed every one else for their problems and plight, except their own agenda.

Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin blasted the Obama administration on Saturday night during her 45-minute keynote address at the inaugural national “tea party” convention in Nashville. Palin said the president must “stop lecturing and start listening” and questioned whether Obama’s 2008 campaign theme was succeeding: “How’s that hopey-changey stuff working out for you?” she asked, to cheers. “It’s time they stop blaming everyone else.”
