According to CNN, Aruban judge questioned in missing teen case

Police questioned Saturday an Aruba judge, whose son is a suspect in the disappearance of Alabama teenager Natalee Holloway, a law enforcement source close to the investigation said.

Paul Van Der Sloot is the father of 17-year-old Joran Van Der Sloot, one of the last people to see Holloway alive early May 30.

On Friday Judge Bob Wit ruled that the elder Van Der Sloot could not visit his son in jail, but that the boy’s mother may.

From Fox News: Three suspects are going to prison. So far one of the suspects, Deepak Kalpoe, has been sent to the prison on Aruba. The other two will probably be sent their over the weekend.

One of the three suspects being held in Aruba for the disappearance of an Alabama teen vacationing there has been moved from a jail to a prison, while the other two are expected to be transported today, two sources confirmed with FOX News.

A judge ruled last night that Deepak Kalpoe, who was moved to a prison last night, Satish Kalpoe and Joran van der Sloot can be held for eight more days while the investigation into Natalee Holloway’s disappearance continues.

MSNBC, Aruba judge extends detention of three men

A judge on Saturday ordered the teenage son of a prominent justice official and two of his friends to stay in jail for at least another week while investigators search for clues in the disappearance of a young Alabama woman.

A disc jockey on an Aruban tourist party boat who also has been detained in the case was to appear before a judge Monday, the attorney general’s spokeswoman Mariaine Croes said as the search for 18-year-old Natalee Holloway neared the end of three weeks.
