Obama Gives Himself a “B” … Barack Obama Hits New Low in Rasmussen Poll, Only 44% Approval Rating

Talk about setting the bar low?

I guess this is the reason why students should not given themselves grades on their own. Barack Obama gave himself a “B” for his first months in office. A “B”, the President would have been better off stating that his time in office was more like T-ball and no one was keeping score.

US President Barack Obama, in remarks aired late Sunday, awarded himself a B plus for his first 11 months in office, stressing in an interview with talk show queen Oprah Winfrey that there was still much to be done.

“A good solid B plus,” Obama said during an hour-long, intimate soft-focus ABC network Christmas at the White House special, when Winfrey asked what grade he would give himself.

As the Gateway Pundit states, Obama has dropped 48 points in his approval index in less than one year and that is grounds for a “B”. Mmm, mmm, mmm … Barack Hussein Obama.

President Barack Obama keeps setting records. This time he hits an all-time new low in the Daily Rasmussen poll for job approval. Only 44% of voters now approve of the job that Obama is doing for America. What might be even more surprising, or worrisome for Obama is that only 72% and 77% of Democrats and Liberals, respectively approve of The One’s job performance. Hardly a ringing endorsement.

Overall, 44% of voters say they at least somewhat approve of the President’s performance. That’s the lowest level yet measured for this president. Previously, his overall approval rating had fallen to 45% twice, once in early September and once in late November.

Fifty-five percent (55%) now disapprove.

Seventy-two percent (72%) of Democrats now offer their approval while 80% of Republicans disapprove. Among voters not affiliated with either major party, just 36% approve.

Seventy-seven percent (77%) of liberals approve while 76% of conservatives disapprove. The bad news for the President is that there are a lot more conservatives in the country than liberals. However, he gets a bit of a boost because 57% of moderate voters still offer their approval.

See the downward spiral trends.

Meanwhile, the Rasmussen Daily Presidential Tracking Poll has Obama at a -18, which represents the 26th polling day in a row that Obama has had a double digit negative number.
