Obama’s Green Jobs Czar Van Jones Resigns … And the MSM Never Covered the Story

If you had Saturday night, August 5, 2009 in your Van Jones will resign pool, you are a winner. As stated by the Fox All stars Van Jones will be gone by Monday.

The controversial and self proclaimed communist Green czar Van Jones has resigned.  After the numerous hateful, embarrassing and radical rantings of Van Jones were uncovered by the blogs and Fox News, Van Jones is OUT!   In typical fashion, the liberal Democrat, communist plays the victim. To the end this man could not own up to his own words.

“On the eve of historic fights for health care and clean energy, opponents of reform have mounted a vicious smear campaign against me,” Jones, special adviser for green jobs at the White House Council on Environmental Quality, said in a statement announcing his resignation just after midnight Saturday. “They are using lies and distortions to distract and divide.”

He continued: “I have been inundated with calls — from across the political spectrum — urging me to ‘stay and fight.’ But I came here to fight for others, not for myself. I cannot in good conscience ask my colleagues to expend precious time and energy defending or explaining my past. We need all hands on deck, fighting for the future.”

No truer words have ever been spoken than by the Gateway Pundit regarding Van Jones, the victim. Jim, wouldn’t it be a$$? Lies? Distract and divide? You did it all on your own. Thankfully it was brought to light, as Obama seemed not to care.

Actually what is most amazing is not the so-called complaints from Van Jones regarding the vicious smear campaign (using nothing more than Van Jones’ own words and videos) waged against the self-proclaimed communist is the fact that Barack Obama allowed this man into an advisory role in the first place. As stated at Town Hall, there is something extremely wrong with the vetting process of this President. Either there is no process, or Barack Obama thinks that he can pass off any tax cheat or left wing lunatic on the American people with no questions asked.

As the MSM refused to cover this story of Van Jones and his past just as the White House refused to obvious vet him, one wonders whether the media will now cover the story that Obama czar is out?

When Obama administration green jobs commissar Van Jones signed on to the Truther statement in 2004, he was concerned that 9/11 might have been an inside job perpetrated by the Bush administration. In the immediate aftermath of 9/11, on September 13, 2001, however, Jones had a different explanation. On September 13, 2001, Jones said: “The bombs the government drops in Iraq are the bombs that blew up in New York City. The US cannot bomb its way out of this one. Safety at home requires justice abroad.”

The fact of the matter was, Van Jones was a political liability to Obama and had to go. Labor Day weekend just proved to be the perfect cover.

If the White House thinks they are off the hook, they are sorely mistaken. We do not care to hear about Obama’s socialist talking points on health care … “We the People” want to hear how in the hell Van Jones was picked by this White House, what they vetted and what they knew when they gave a radical like Jones access to the Presidency.
