We Still Do Live in the United States?

Posted in: Politics

A CARNIVAL OF ILLEGAL ALIENS ACTIVITY

>>> Last time I checked we still had 50 States that made up the United States. I guess someone may want to remind Arizona Governor Janet Napolitano who according to the AP, “vetoed a bill Monday that would have made English the state’s official language and required that government functions be conducted in English.”

Supporters say the measure was needed to encourage assimilation of immigrants, while opponents say the bill (SB1167) wasn’t so much about protecting English as it is an attack on illegal immigrants.

This is not an attack against free speech as our government is doing a disservice to any immigrant who comes to this country and does not make it necessary to learn English. Let alone the disservice it does to the US. It constantly amazes me that the opponents of such bills are worried that it is an attack on “illegal aliens” rather than carrying for the well being of actual citizens (LEGAL) of the United States.

WHAT PART ABOUT ILLEGAL, IN ILLEGAL ALIENS IS NOT QUITE UNDERSTOOD?

I did not know we were in the business of protecting and taking care of illegal activity in this country.

>>> It gets even better so not only will we allow illegals into the country and not have them conform in any manner to assimilate but the United States will also pay for their medical bills.

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services issued final guidance Monday that sets up a system for reimbursement. Lawmakers set aside $1 billion over four years for the program, created by Medicare legislation passed in 2003.

Two-thirds of the money will be distributed to health care providers based on a state’s percentage of illegal immigrants. The other third will go to six states with the largest number of arrests of illegals.

He said hospitals would ask patients three questions: are they are eligible for Medicaid, has patient received a border crossing card, and is a patient foreign-born.

There it is your hard earned tax dollars at work. For all of you complaining that the US does not do enough for the homeless, education or the handicapped in the United States that are actually LEGAL citizens, here is your money going to promote illegal activities condoning illegal aliens in the United States and paying for illegals health care while American citizens are without.

Hat Tip: The Immigration Blog

>>> To add insult to injury we will just disregard the Driver License rules as well and just allow anyone to get one and not verify the citizenship or legal status of people getting them.

“What passed is something that will be an enormous amount of work and it’s questionable what it’s going to yield,” said Democrat Matt Dunlap, Maine’s secretary of state. “Is it going to yield national security or is it going to be hassle for people already complying with the law?”

Gee Mr. Dunlap, I did not know the protection of the citizens of the US and in your case the State of Maine was supposed to be easy. Seeing that some of the 9-11 hijackers came out of the Portland International Jetport I would think that you would want to do everything humanly possible to never allow a false identity to pass through your state? That being said, illegal immigration into the United States is one of our greatest issues and we have politician complaining of the hard work and the cost. Funny the expense of things does not seem to bother them with their Pork barrel projects.
