Police Find Body of Missing 40 Year Old Alejandro Padilla in Burned Out Car in Rialto, CA

Police have found the body of missing 40 yer old Alejandro Padilla in a burned out car in Rialto, California. He was found dead inside the vehicle parked in the 1000 block of West Etiwanda Street shortly after 10 p.m. Alejandro Padilla went missing Friday, July 26, 2013 at about 5 a.m. after he was attacked in the driveway of his home. Both Padilla and his vehicle, a black Nissan Versa, were initially reported missing . Upon arriving at the scene, police found blood on the driveway and a broken bat.
The car turned up at Flores Park after Padilla was reported missing from his home hours earlier. Authorities believe he was attacked and abducted.
Padilla went missing Friday at about 5 a.m. after he was attacked in the driveway of his home, authorities said.
“He was on his way to work like he is every morning, Fontana police Sgt. Doug Imhof told KTLA News.
“He made the phone call that he makes every morning to a co-worker and then he hasn’t shown up to work.”
When officers arrived they found signs of a violent and bloody struggle in front of Padilla’s home, police said.
