The Battle on ADHD

Coming home from Hockey practice, Sean Hannity had Kelly Preston on his radio show. Most people know her as the actress who was in Jack Frost or the wife of John Travolta. Today she was wearing the hat of an advocate for children who are considered ADHD, and are drugged to get them to conform.

Our son went through this experience, and we had be very firm with the educators at his school that medication was not an option. We had him assessed, and apart from some short term memory problems, he is just bored most of the day.

This is the site,  Fight For Kids, that Kelly was talking about. It is informative, a little over the top, but it seems like a great resource for parents who are going through the fight with educators about medicating our children.
