Howard Dean’s Dollar Store

Posted in: Politics

Howard Dean outlined plans for support in states by investing almost half a million dollars in state parties in Missouri, North Carolina, North Dakota and West Virginia.

“We have to show up if we’re going to win, and we’re going to rebuild and empower our state parties,” Dean said when he announced the $465,000 investment.

It would seem that these Democrats just will never learn. Not only is it folly to think that certain states are even to be considered in play, but the notion that throwing money at the problem will some how change the outcome is comical.

The Democratic Party has long had this misconception in domestic policies. Money alone does not solve problems. Throwing money hand over fist at problems never solves anything. Allocating money in a wise manner in an efficient way with a plan has become a foreign concept to Democrats. It looks like Dean is going to bring that same failed idea to revamp the Democratic Infrastructure.

Keep in mind it was Howard Dean’s campaign that set records for raising campaign contributions during the Democratic Primaries and frittered it away almost as quickly as he received it. Looks like he’s up to his old tricks. It is amazing with his track record that the Democrats would put this man in charge of the treasure chest.
