The snow in some parts of New York state is deep enough to bury a basketball player. Snowfall totals in Oswego County have topped the seven-foot mark.
The National Weather Service reports 88 inches of snow has fallen in the town of Parish since Sunday. That’s seven feet, four inches of snow, as high as the National Basketball Association’s tallest players.
New York’s governor has declared a disaster emergency in the area. Forecasters say it isn’t over yet. The region could get another two to three feet of snow Friday. via 14 WFIE,
