Barack Obama Invites Union Boss AFL-CIO President Richard Trumka & GE Chairman Jeffrey Immelt as VIP Guests

Before President Barack Obama utters one word of his jobs speech in front of a joint session of Congress, we need to look no further than to see who will be sitting next to Michelle Obama in the VIP box. Can you believe Union boss, AFL-CIO President Richard Trumka & GE Cahirman Jeffrey Immelt.
Unbelievable, do we really need to listen to the speech? No union thugs here, or maybe not. What a crock. Isn’t Jeffrey Immelt of GE the poster boy for companies that Obama speaks of where loops holes need to be closed as GE paid no corporate taxes last year. Is this the guy that should really be in the VIP box?
This is turning into a State of the Union-like event.
The White House has announced that nearly two dozen guests will sit with first lady Michelle Obama to watch President Obama deliver his jobs speech to a joint session of Congress.
The list of business, labor and political leaders includes GE Chairman Jeffrey Immelt, AOL co-founder Steve Case, AFL-CIO President Richard Trumka and Maryland Gov. Martin O’Malley.
