Breaking News from the Natalee Holloway Case … Could this be the confession that actually gets Aruba to prosecute suspect Joran Van der Sloot?
Joran Van der Sloot
According to Dutch reports, Joran Van der Sloot has once again confessed in the death of Alabama teen Natelee Holloway. Joran Van der Sloot was the last reported individual to have been with Natalee Holloway prior to her disappearance in Aruba in May 30, 2005. Joran Van der sloot in his new confession claims to have left Natalee Holloway’s body in a swamp.
Dutch suspect Joran van der Sloot has confessed to disposing the body of missing American student Natalee Holloway while on the Caribbean island of Aruba, a Dutch newspaper reported on Tuesday. He made the statements in front of an RTL television camera.
The statements by van der Sloot follow a similar confession more than two years ago during an undercover operation by Dutch crime reporter Peter R. de Vries, which prosecutors said did not constitute new legal evidence.
Natalee Holloway, Missing in Aruba
‘De Telegraaf’ newspaper reported that – in the new confession – Van der Sloot said he is still scared of being prosecuted and admitted to disposing Holloway’s body in a marsh on Aruba. The report said the chief prosecutor on Aruba confirmed the story, but said Van der Sloot could be attempting to give multiple false versions to hide the truth.
Dutch reports: Joran van der Sloot admits to dumping Holloway’s body
BNONews, a Dutch wire service, reports that Joran van der Sloot has confessed to dumping Natalee Holloway’s body in an Aruban marsh. CBS 42 was looking into the story early Tuesday morning. Van der Sloot has long been a suspect in the May 2005 disappearance of Holloway, a Mountain Brook High School student who was on her senior trip.
With the recent death of his father Paulus Van der Sloot, has Joran lost the ability to keep a secret and hold his narcissist tongue in what really might have happened to Natalee Holloway? Dana Pretzer of Scared Monkeys radio recently interviewed Jossy Mansur, Managing editor of Diario Aruba and Tim Miller of TES who searched for Natalee Holloway in Aruba on Paulus’ death and what it might mean to the case.
UPDATE I: Joran Van der Sloot has Revised his confession in his involvement in the death of Natalee Holloway
Joran van der Sloot, a suspect in the case of the disappearance of Natalee Holloway on the island of Aruba in 2005, has again revised his statements about his role in the case. Aruban public prosecutor Peter Blanken confirmed this to De Telegraaf newspaper on Tuesday.
In his most recent ‘confession’ – made to the German-language service of broadcaster RTL – Joran van der Sloot claims he did not dump the American teenager’s body into the Caribbean off Aruba, but hid her remains in a swamp.
The Aruban public prosecutor’s department has followed up on his statements and concluded that his latest version of events is false. The timeline is reportedly inconsistent and witnesses have contradicted Joran van der Sloot’s statements. Furthermore, public prosecutor Blanken believes that if Joran van der Sloot had really wanted to tell the truth, he would have mentioned an exact location.
It is now time for the Aruban justice system to get off their backsides and do something regarding prosecuting Joran Van der Sloot. How can Aruban public prosecutor Peter Blanken state that the time line or Joran’s confession is not consistent with previous statements? No kidding, REALLY SHERLOCK!!! When one is dealing with a pathological, lying sociopath just what statements are true and what are false?
HOW MANY TIMES MUST JORAN VAN DER SLOOT CONFESS TO A CRIME BEFORE ARUBA PROSECUTES THIS PUNK FOR THE DEATH OF NATALEE HOLLOWAY!!!
How is Joran Van der Sloot allowed to confess over and over to the crime and Aruban prosecutors consistently not rearrest or prosecute him for murder?
Just because some one is a liar is not supposed to get them off the hook for murder. Once again Aruba finds itself with a black mark of them as they refuse to provide JUSTICE FOR NATALEE.
Why does Aruba keep the missing persons and murder case open of Natalee Holloway if when presented with confession of the prime suspect, they refuse to prosecute?
UPDATE II: Aruban Officials Doubt Natalee Holloway Suspect’s Latest Confession
At what point do Aruban prosecutors believe that Joran Van der Sloot was involved in the death of Natalee Holloway, whether he buried her at sea or in a marsh? Seriously folks, who continually confesses to a crime and thumbs their nose at the law and justice if there is not a shred of truth? A sociaopath most likely does weave in a mixture of lies and fantasy, it’s all part of the sick game they play.
The idea that these either rank amatures or corrupt prosecutors in Aruba will only arrest and prosecute Joran Van der Sloot unless he gives a perfect confession that meets their standards … IS INSANE!
This Aruban prosecution could have VIDEO evidence of the crime and they would find some excuse not to prosecute.
The confession reportedly came after Van der Sloot gave an interview to a German TV station.
According to the report, Van der Sloot said Holloway’s body was hidden in marshes on the Caribbean island. Van der Sloot made the comments to German broadcaster RTL and a second interview is reportedly plannedin Frankfurt this week. In an earlier confession he told reporters he dumped Holloway’s body at sea.
Aruban justice department officials doubt Van der Sloot’s latest confession, telling De Telegraaf that although it has sparked new inquiries into the investigation, “it soon became clear this statement is a mixture of lies and fantasy.”
Aruba’s chief prosecutor Peter Blanken told NBC News that the suspect’s story was “very unbelievable.”
