Poll Finds that Americans Agree With President Trump … 64% Believe Players Should Stand For National Anthem

DAMNING POLL FOR THE NFL

The most recent Remington Research Group survey regarding opinions on the NFL, its players and owners should bring shock to NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell, the 32 NFL team owners, NFL players, networks and sponsors. In a survey conducted September 25, 2017, one day after the reprehensible and disrespectful behavior of the NFL refusing to stand for the National Anthem, 64% of Americans polled said NFL players should stand and be respectful during the national anthem.

The NFL owners and players best take a good look at what fans had to say about their product. The people do not want politics in their sports entertainment and they do not want players disrespecting the American flag, the National Anthem or the United States of America. This is a friendly warning shot across the NFL bow, you best start to know who your fan base is because we can tune in something else at any time and leave all you over-entitled, millionaires and billionaires in the lurch to actually have to work for a living.

NFL poll

Americans are watching less NFL football because they want no part of politics in sports, left or right. Football is supposed to be an entertainment diversion, not CNN, MSNBC or Fox News. The NFL best get their act together and understand what their customer wants. Because it is not disrespect for flag or country, or to the memories of those who have laid down their lives so that men can play a game. Real heroes where military, police, fire and first responder uniforms, not football jerseys.

This whole farce about kneeling during the National Anthem should never have happened.

It was a false premise that was started by an ignorant ball player who chose the wrong action and place to protest his feelings about a social issue he didn’t understand.

The NFL operations manual has a proper procedure for all players to follow during the national anthem. This is not available to the general public. However, a good investigative reporter managed to uncover the manual and publish the salient portion.

The sports fans should never have been subjected to the ignorant actions and the clubs will pay for this in lost revenue and the loss of respect by the people

Bad behavior is just bad. This is mob mentality and the club owners must put a stop to it.

Kaepernick could not land a hired position from any of 32 teams so he wrongfully protested an issue hoping for media leverage which backfired on him. He protested against the support of law and order, disrespect for a police officer and the inability to live among being decent in a civilized society.

There excuse is exercising free speech, free speech my ass, your demonstrating the refusal to obey law and order which is exactly what happened. Using a captive family activity with high priced admission to disrespect our flag, our National Anthem, our military, our police, our country with your display of fists in the air, a lineup of locked arms, which is suppose to portray we have power and we are intimidating….your disgusting. Power to do what….break the law and cause great harm when caught.

I’m sure the owners are afraid of teams that are threatening, as well as knowing their abusive actions on their families, as well as fans that will withdraw from participating.

You’ve become a mob, a gang of useless thugs, that can’t speak an ounce of intelligence or complete a sentence let alone spell beyond your name. And now you’ve disgraced a sacred tribute to our country and insulted a fan base of seventy years. Plus you created a bad outlook on football which affected the lives of those ballplayers that are there for right reason. Get out of their way and get off the field. I’m sure you have broken contracts that dissolve your salary and result in termination.

There are probably lawsuits pending as a result of being a captive subject forced into an unannounced protest that you didn’t expect nor agreed to or volunteered for. Abuse of civil rights and exposure to being frightened seeing a display of disobedience and disrespect, fists in the air, a formed gang daring line of locked arms. These are all exploiting acts relating to violence, fear, danger and harm. It also instilled fear of what they might to do other players on the field that oppose them by intentionally causing physical or permanent damage to them.

There’s an overwhelming number of fans and people in general disapproving and remaining intolerant of their actions and behavior. No second chances, no excuses, on this one, you can’t return to the field there are too many distrusting factors involved that you created and are responsible for. Blackballed and boycotted, aren’t you so proud of yourselves, you’ve brought shame to the game. Your beyond disgust!
