Today President Donald J. Trump wowed the crowds in Krasinski Square in Warsaw, Poland with a truly amazing speech to a truly amazing people. The Polish crowds chanted “Donald Trump!” and “USA!” as President Trump talked to one of our greatest allies and a strong people who as Trump stated are a people “who have never been broken and who have never ever forgotten who they are.”
The Polish crowd attending President Trump’s speech in Krasinski Square repeatedly interrupted his remarks with chants of “Donald Trump!” and “USA!”
“The story of Poland is the story of a people who have never lost hope, who have never been broken and who have never ever forgotten who they are,” Trump said in Warsaw, before the crowd began chanting his name.
“Thank you so much, thank you,” he replied. “Thank you so much. A great honor.”
During a wreath laying ceremony, the crowd broke out into a ‘USA! USA! USA!’ chant.
UPDATE I: Trump commits to NATO defense, slams Russian aggression
President Trump voiced a clear commitment Thursday to NATO’s “Article 5” principle of common defense, reassuring nervous Europeans who had worried about his support for the alliance.
Speaking to a huge crowd in Poland, Mr. Trump said Europeans should never question the U.S. commitment to NATO.
“The United States has demonstrated not merely with words but with its actions that we stand firmly behind Article 5,” Mr. Trump said in a speech to tens of thousands of cheering Poles. He had raised concerns in the spring when, during a visit to NATO headquarters in Brussels, Belgium, he neglected to mention Article 5.
But Mr. Trump reminded the audience in Poland, “Our defense is not just a commitment of money, it is a commitment of will.”
“The fundamental question of our time is whether the West has the will to survive,” Mr. Trump said in Krasinski Square in Warsaw. “Our own fight for the West does not begin on the battlefield — it begins with our minds, our wills, and our souls.”

Trump did very well in Poland, his visit was applauded by all. But then you have Cillizza from CNN saying that he slammed the news media in a country where freedom of the press is curtailed. It’s curtailed from hate rhetoric, something we need to do. Cillizza’s idea of freedom of the press is to be an enemy of the truth. If your a decent reporter, journalist or editor before journalism, as it is today, becomes history and a complete distrust of being news worthy why don’t you speak out against the hate rhetoric and lies they tell, some already do?
