Barack Obama’s Oval Office Address to the Nation on his Plan to Defeat ISIS and Terrorism … Just Bad Reheated Leftovers with a Dash of Gun Control

A FAILED PLAN FROM A FAILED PRESIDENT:  Barack Obama’s 4 point plan can be summed up in four letters … J – O – K – E

Are you kidding me, that is why Barack Obama had a prime time address to the United States? Talk about 14 minutes that we will never get back. Last night Obama provided a four point plan that sounded an awful lot like the plain that he already had in place. This was nothing more than a defense of his failed policies on ISIS.  Oh but wait, he made sure to use the San Bernardino terror attack to call for more gun control. It was nothing more than to reassure Americans of his previous four point plan that has done nothing to contain ISIS. In typical Obama leaderless fashion, Obama spent more time on what we shouldn’t do, rather than discussing what we should do. However, what Obama made sure to do was to make a connection between national security and the need for gun control following America’s latest mass shooting. Really Mr President, what about the pipe bombs and the fact that law enforcement stated that the terrorists garage in San Bernardino was a bomb factory?

And of course Barack Obama was sure to mention Islamophobia as is with all the acts of violence that have taken place in the United States and its citizens slaughtered both here and abroad that Americans have targeted Muslims. Unlike the Democrats hero FDR who rounded up the Japanese and put them in internment camps.

Obama: Increasing Gun Control, Rejecting Islamophobia Are Key to Combating Terrorism.

“I know that after so much war, many Americans are asking whether we are confronted by a cancer that has no immediate cure,” Obama said. But he expressed confidence that the country can “overcome” the threat. “The threat from terrorism is real, but we will overcome it,” Obama said. “Our defence won’t depend on tough talk,” he added. “Instead we will prevail by being stronger and smarter.”

Obama was particularly forceful on speaking up against Islamophobia. He noted that, yes, Muslim leaders have a responsibility to push back against hateful rhetoric and “speak out against not just acts of violence, but also those interpretations of Islam that are incompatible with the values of religious tolerance, mutual respect, and human dignity.” But Americans “of every faith” must also “reject discrimination.” As part of an impassioned plea against discrimination, Obama criticized those who have suggested those from certain religions should get priority to be accepted as refugees.

UPDATE I: If it is such common sense to have people on the “No Fly” list be able to buy guns … why was the late Massachusetts Senator and Democrat presidential candidate Ted Kennedy on the no fly list? So Obama are you saying that he should not have been able to but a gun, if he were still alive?
