Tony Hernandez and the Immigrant Archive Project on the Streets of Miami Asking Citizenship Questions

THIS IS JUST EMBARRASSING …

Tony Hernandez, co-founder of the Immigrant Archive Project, stated that his group aimed to debunk the “misconception that it’s relatively easy [for immigrants] to get their citizenship.” Hardly, all his video study did was prove just how ignorant and clueless some Americans really are. Who knew that Susan B. Anthony did not make the first flag? Hell, most did not know who the current vice president is. Please tell me none of these people vote. I am going to go out on a limb and call these folks low information voters.

I would say this, if we have a test to pass for citizenship, maybe this same test can be given in order to vote?

That’s just one of the many questions immigrants might face when they take the civics test for U.S. citizenship — and if you think most Americans can easily answer, you might want to think again.

A new video posted online last week by the Immigrant Archive Project features 15 randomly selected individuals attempting to answer some of the easiest questions on the test.

Only one passed.

14 Year Old Solomon Pule Charged As Adult In Rape Of His 8 Year Old Female Cousin … Threatened to Cut Her Of She Screamed

OH DEAR GOD …

14 year old Solomon Pule has been charged in the rape of his own 8 year old female cousin. Baltimore City Police arrested the 14-year old boy on charges that he sexually assaulted an 8 year old girl, Pule will be tried as an adult. Pule was caught in the act by his mother as she came down stairs and saw her son on top of his 8 year old cousin with his pants down and her skirt lifted. UNREAL.  The victim told police that Pule threatened her with the scissors to keep her quiet she was told, “if I scream to tell you he was going to cut me.”  Police say Pule admitted to the crime.

Solomon Pule, 14, was turned in to authorities last Monday by his mother, according to CBS Baltimore.

A probable cause statement, obtained by Fox News Baltimore, said Pule’s mother came downstairs to see the teen mounting his young cousin on a love seat. The little girl’s skirt was lifted, Pule’s pants were down, and a pair of scissors sat next to the two, according to the statement.

“He told me if I was to scream that he was going to cut me,” the victim told police. “He shoved his thing in me.”

So let’s understand this, not only did this 14 year old rape his 8 year old cousin, he also threatened he with violence to keep her quiet? What kind a sociopath do we have on our hands?

Sec. of State Kerry Backpedals on Israel “Apartheid State” Comment and Tries to Blame Partisan Politics … However, There are Calls for Kerry to Resign

Hey John Kerry, why the long face? He has certainly put his foot in his mouth this time …

Secretary of State John Kerry is feeling the backlash from his ignorant comments about Israel could become an “Apartheid state”.  Kerry tried to backpedal on the comments regarding one of the United State’s greatest allies; however,  Kerry still found time to make excuses and blame partisan politics for his foolish comments saying, “I will not allow my commitment to Israel to be questioned by anyone, particularly for partisan, political purposes. The tape of Kerry’s comments was published by the Daily Beast on Sunday, a recording of Kerry’s comments to a meeting of the Trilateral Commission on Friday in which he lamented the breakdown of talks between the Israelis and Palestinians.

Secretary of State John Kerry, under fire for warning that Israel risks becoming “an apartheid state” in the absence of a peace deal, released a statement Monday evening pushing back hard.

“I will not allow my commitment to Israel to be questioned by anyone, particularly for partisan, political purposes,” Kerry said in a release put out by the State Department. “… If I could rewind the tape, I would have chosen a different word to describe my firm belief that the only way in the long term to have a Jewish state and two nations and two peoples living side by side in peace and security is through a two state solution.”

Political purposes? As stated at Powerline, “Just how Mr. Pompous intends to disallow questions about his commitment to Israel is unclear. What is clear is that the questions being raised aren’t a matter of partisan politics.” The fact of the matter is that the criticism and backlash toward Kerry is coming from all sides, Democrats and Republicans alike. This is bi-partisan outrage. Last time I checked, Sen. Barbara Boxer of California was a Democrat.  Boxer said on Twitter that any statement comparing Israel to apartheidis nonsensical and ridiculous.” But wait,  there is also criticism from the non-partisan Anti-Defamation League, the National Jewish Democratic Council, and by Democratic partisans like Senators Barbara Boxer and Mark Begich.

Fellow Democrat Nita Lowey of New York, ranking member on the House Appropriations Committee, also spoke out on Twitter against the comments, saying: “Inflammatory rhetoric comparing Israel’s democracy to repugnant apartheid policy is irresponsible, inaccurate & counterproductive.”

Democratic Sen. Mark Begich of Alaska also spoke out against Kerry’s comments.

“Secretary Kerry knows as well as anyone that negotiating lasting peace in this region of the world is difficult but it’s not productive to express his frustration in this way,” Begich said in a statement Monday. “This remark also implies Israel should ignore the pact between [Palestinian President Mahmoud] Abbas and the Hamas. Last time I checked, the U.S. didn’t negotiate with terrorist organizations and we shouldn’t expect the Israeli government to either.”

Senator Ted Cruz (TX-R) is calling for John Kerry to resign and for Barack Obama to accept it. Cruz said in a floor speech went on to say, “Secretary Kerry has thus proven himself unsuitable for his position and that before any further harm is done to our alliance with Israel.

“Mr. President, sadly, it is my belief that Secretary Kerry has proven himself unsuitable for the position he holds. And therefore, before any further harm is done to our national security interests and to our critical alliance with the nation of Israel, John Kerry should offer President Obama his resignation and the president should accept it,” he added. “Mr. President, I would suggest the absence of a quorum.”

Emergency Committee for Israel calls for John Kerry to resign.

43 year old father J.R. Kimber, his 10 year old son Dakota and 6 year old daughter Jade have been missing since Saturday, April 26, 2014 in Congaree National Park in South Carolina.  The three departed for the hike from the Harry Hampton Visitor Center around 5 p.m. Saturday. Kimbler and the children were reported missing by the children’s mother, Tammy Ballard, Saturday around 10 p.m. Ballard said she had received a text from Kimbler saying the three were lost.  They had left the vehicle at about 5 p.m.

Ballard said Kimbler is a cab driver, and he and the children rode to the park in his cab Saturday. A cell phone was found inside the cab along with Kimbler’s cab logbook. The last ride time, according to the log, was 12:35 p.m. Saturday.

In addition to emergency personnel, Ballard walked the trails herself Monday morning yelling her kids’ names.

UPDATE I: More than 60 searchers scour rugged terrain

The search is continuing Monday for a father and his two children missing in the Congaree National Park, with an increasing sense of urgency.

More than 60 members from several agencies have been searching since 1 a.m. Sunday.

Authorities are getting assistance from rangers with the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, whom they say have more experience with a large-scale search like this one.

Soehn said 9,000 of the park’s 27,000 acres have been searched, and planes and helicopters have searched the entire park property.  She said heavy foliage is hampering the air search, and downed trees and wet ground are creating challenges for ground searchers.
