Washington Healthplanfinder Obamacare Website Misbilling Individuals Bank Accounts and Debiting Multiple Times

And Now For Something Completely Different, Another Day and Another Obamacare screw-up …

Not only can’t you keep your insurance if you like it, with Obamacare you can’t keep the money in your bank account either.

So let’s understand this, not only is Obamacare a healthcare policy that a majority of Americans are opposed to, not ,only are Americans forced to enroll in this or else face tax penalty fees, not only can’t many Individuals even log on because of the disastrous website rollout, not only can’t they verify whether their enrollment data ever made it to the insurance company they chose, not only do they have no peace of mind that their personal information is safe from hackers, now we learn that when an individual has jumped through all the hoops, their back accounts are being mis-billed and in many cases double billed. Is there anything that goes right with Obamacare?

Obama_screwup

Never on earth would I allow these people to draft my bank account. With the continual errors and security issues you put your banking account info o this website. Are you kidding, you would give access to Barack Obama, Kathleen Sebelius and the federal government you bank account? GOOD GRIEF!!!  would not even send these people a check in the mail with my banking account and routing number on it. At best they would get a money order or PayPal account that only had a monthly amount of what should be billed.

For the second week in a row, the Washington Healthplanfinder website is down, and it’s causing problems for people who are dealing with billing issues. Some of them say the website is mistakenly debiting their accounts.

Shannon Bruner of Indianola logged on to her checking account Monday morning, and found she was almost 800 dollars in the negative.

“The first thing I thought was, ‘I got screwed,’” she said.

The Bruners enrolled for insurance on the Washington Healthplanfinder website, last October. They say they selected the bill pay date to be December 24th. Instead the Washington Healthplanfinder drafted the 835 dollar premium Monday.

Josh Bruner started his own business this year as an engineering recruiter. They said it’s forced them to pay a lot of attention to their bills and their bank accounts.

“Big knot in my gut because we’re trying to keep it together,” said Shannon Bruner. “It’s important to me that this kind of stuff doesn’t happen.”

They’re not alone.

One viewer emailed KING 5 saying, “They drafted my account this morning for a second time.”

Who thinks that Obamacare is going to take the hit and pay for your bank fees when you start bouncing checks left and right because of the Obamacare billing debacle? Wait until the police show up and arrest you for passing bad checks and you didn’t even know it. Just how long is it going to take the folks at Obamacare to refund your money? Hell, they probably do not even know what individual’s account was paid for with your funds.

This is just another reason for the public to stay off the web sites.

It is a prime example of how little these fools know about proper design and testing of a commerce system.

Somehow, the courts or congres need to step-in and place a stop order on computer systems until they can be demonstrated to be operating properly and with good security.

After all the horrible publicity detailing the core incompetence’s of the insurance exchanges what kind of numb nut would give the government access to their main checking account?
      Feeling sorry is tough.

Lord, get a clue. This misguided trust in the government is the very reason this insurance damnation exists.

Without alternative, at least set up a separate bank account, even better, at a different bank, just for premium payments depositing only the exact amount needed or the bare minimum the account requires.

Better to pay an account service charge than spend months trying to have an overcharge refunded. Good luck with that.

Wow, this will get the anti-Obama crowd foaming at the mouth for sure.

Insurance companies should be taking customer payments, not the government, this would solve the problem, but I am sure the health insurance companies balked at this idea since it would delve into their huge profits.
