      It is time to return to the old way of having two people running the train. There is no required operational need for a person as a fireman, but two people can make it a lot safer. They at least can keep one another awake.

      Commercial airplanes have two and sometimes more in the cockpit area. This provides a backup in the event something happens to one. However, it has been proven that not all pilots are truly qualified to fly some of the planes. The crash at SF of the Korean 777 is a prime example.
