Please tell me why a 2 year old child with severe disabilities who can open the front door and has been known to wander away before was not protected and better supervised? Why wasn’t every precaution taken so that she could no longer open that door?

Someone noticed she was missing at 1:30PM. When was the last time anyone saw her?

I hate to beat up on a parent of a child with a disability. I know how hard it is to take care of that child. If this was the first time Amber opened the front door, I would be able to understand better. But, Amber was know to be able to open the door and she was found at a neighbor’s house before.

God knows where this child is. She may have wandered away, but anything could have happened to her the second she got out that front door.

She could be the victim of any number of crimes and I think this disappearance should be followed aggressively as if something happened to this child.

They should process the last place Amber was seen as they would the last place any missing child was seen. They should treat it as a possible crime scene, not only because something could have happened to her in that house, but also because the house may hold a clue/some clues if she wandered away. There may be some indication of where she was thinking of heading based upon what she took with her.

      God bless this baby girl.
