Did they send the TSA people home? No. This is just more proof that the TSA is mostly a non-functioning unit of Homeland Security.
Their best effort is picking on small children and elderly women.
The idea of creating a department of Homeland security in an effort to get the various LE and security agencies to communicate better has merit on the surface. The problem is the original goal was never met. It takes a real leader to make this happen. To date, the Obama administration has shown the wrong leadership that allows the agencies to do as they please.
