14 year old Alexandra (Ali) Ponte has been missing since Wednesday, September 4, 2013 in Woodland Park, Colorado. Ali was last seen about 7:30 pm when she left home to go to Memorial Park in Woodland Park on September 4, but has not been seen or heard from since.

“Come home, just come home. We love her and we want her home safe where she belongs.” That’s the message Chrissy says she wants to get to her daughter.
Ali is described as white with a fair complexion. She is 5’5″ tall and weighs about 115 lbs. She has brown hair and green eyes. She’s 14-years-old.
She was wearing a bright blue hoodie and skinny jeans. She also had a gray and black Nike backpack. Her hair was pulled back into a pony tail.

UPDATE I: Alexandra “Ali” Ponte who had been missing since Sept. 4 was found by the Woodland Park Police Department at 9 p.m. Saturday.

‘She is alive and well,” the police said in a written statement. “We would like to thank the community for all their help and support.”

The argument between Ali and her mother may imply that this is a runaway case. Nevertheless … Ali is only 14 years old and at risk. There should be an amber alert when a missing persons case involves a child. IMO
Woodland Park Police Search For Missing Girl

Woodland Park police are searching for a teenage girl who disappeared Tuesday night.
Alexandra (Ali) Ponte went to Memorial Park in Woodland Park Sept. 4 and hasn’t been seen since.
Apparently, Ali’s phone was on Thursday. Her mom says investigators tried pinging it, but couldn’t locate the phone.
Ali’s mom Chrissy tells 11 News she and Ali got into an argument before she disappeared .

Are there two parents in the home? Young women will sometimes do foolish things and when mom objects, they will get mad and leave home an act that is even more foolish.
Every child who follows this type behavior is at great risk. Society cannot rely on just the police to solve the problem. Every concerned citizen should be alert to finding Ali and returning her to her home safely.
Prayers for her safe return and strength for her family.
Please give word when she returns.
