Ex-NFL Linebacker 34 Year Old Jamie Winborn Missing Since 8/23/13 in Atlanta, GA

 

Former NFL linebacker, 34 year old Jamie Winborn has been missing since Friday, August 23, 2013 in Atlanta, GA. His wife has not seen hims since Friday and called police regarding his erratic behavior. She told them that he had drugs and a gun at their home. According to accounts, Winborn has been recently battling cancer. The police paid a visit to the couple’s home in the quiet cul-de-sac of High Falls Court in Southwest Atlanta, where officers removed several weapons and marijuana from the home. Jamie Winborn played ten seasons in the NFL with the San Fransisco 49ers, Jacksonville Jaguars, Tampa Bay Bucs, Denver Broncos, Houston Texans and the Tennessee Titans.

Police haven’t issued an arrest warrant and despite Winborn’s odd behavior they don’t believe he is a danger to either himself or the public.

Winborn hasn’t been seen since Friday. His wife called police with concerns about his behavior, and she told them he had guns and drugs in the home, according to WSB-TV.

Officers removed several weapons and marijuana from the home. There are reports that Winborn has been battling cancer.

He played football at Vanderbilt University before making it in the NFL. The Titans released him three years ago.
