13 in Torrington, CT

13 year old Jessica Salinas has been missing since Wednesday morning, June 19, 2013 in Torrington, Connecticut. Police have issued a Silver Alert for Jessica Salinas who was last seen around 8 am leaving her mother’s apartment at 243 North Elm Street in Torrington to go to school. Salinas was wearing blue jeans and a purple “NYC” sweatshirt. According to accounts, Salinas never made it to Torrington Middle School Wednesday morning.

“Jessica continues to be missing at this time and is listed as a ‘runaway’ on the Silver Alert status report,” Torrington police Lt. Mike Emanuel. “She was last seen at her mother’s apartment.”

Police descibed Salinas as Hispanic, with brown hair and brown eyes. She is 5’1″ tall and weights 110 pounds.
