Mitt Romney Says … It’s Time for Harry Reid to “Put Up or Shut Up”

In response to Democrat Majority Leader Harry Reid’s shameful comments about what he heard from some unnamed Bain Capital investor with regards to Mitt Romney not paying taxes for 10 yeas … Mitt Romney responds and say, “Put Up or Shut Up”!

It’s time for Harry to put up or shut up,” Romney said on Sean Hannity’s radio show. “Harry’s going to have to describe who it is he spoke with because that’s totally and completely wrong. It’s untrue, dishonest and inaccurate. It’s wrong. So I’m looking forward to have Harry reveal his sources and we’ll probably find out it’s the White House.”

Much more from The Other McCain, ‘Harry Reid’s Financial McCarthyism: ‘I Don’t Think the Burden Should Be on Me’. Unbelievable. Mach outrageous accusations and then think that you should not have to prove your slanderous comments.

      TIT FOR TAT?

Reid doubles down on Romney tax charge
      Posted: Aug. 1, 2012 | 6:21 p.m.

Asked to elaborate on his sources, Reid declined. “No, that’s the best you’re going to get from me.”

“I don’t think the burden should be on me,” Reid said. “The burden should be on him. He’s the one I’ve alleged has not paid any taxes. Why didn’t he release his tax returns?”

Obama Got Worst Grades in Harvard History — and It’s Up to Him to Prove He Didn’t
      August 02, 2012

RUSH: I got a call from a guy at Harvard who claimed that Obama’s got the lowest grades out of anybody who went there and didn’t even go to class sometimes, and the professors covered for him. …

What do you mean the burden is on me to prove it? I don’t have to prove anything here. Look, the burden is on Obama. He’s the one that I’ve alleged got the worst grades in the history of Harvard. It’s up to Obama to prove this. It’s up to Obama. So we need the transcripts.

Romney’s most recent financial disclosure form revealed that his tax-deferred individual retirement account holds upwards of $100 million — an amount that awkwardly showcases his enormous wealth but also raises legal and ethical questions

A second source, said to be “close to Senator [Harry] Reid,” has told CNN’s Dana Bash that Reid’s original source for the claim that Mitt Romney “didn’t pay any taxes for 10 years” exists, is a “Bain investor” and a “credible person.” Dana Bash reported on this source, and the person’s willingness to corroborate the allegation to which the Senate majority leader repeated on Thursday’s airing of CNN’s AC360.

Since when were the claims of anonymous sources embraced as the truth. The Obama campaign must be desperate.

Biden goes on the attack over anonymous ‘Anglo-Saxon’ comment
      July 25, 2012

Just a day after he pledged to avoid direct criticisms of U.S. foreign policy on his tour of three foreign capitals, GOP presidential challenger Mitt Romney found himself embroiled in a controversy even before his plane landed in London.

President Obama’s campaign, led by Vice President Joseph R. Biden, seized on comments attributed to an unnamed Romney campaign adviser published in a British newspaper — comments immediately disavowed by senior Romney aides — that the Obama White House doesn’t appreciate America’s “Anglo-Saxon heritage” or the “special relationship between the United States and Britain.”

Yeah man, I’m hearing that a couple of honest and
true-blue sources known by CNN have confirmed
(verbally) that Mitt didn’t pay taxes that were due
to the IRS for 10 years. I fully expect to have those
persons come forward with the evidence real soon
in order to save face for the honorable Mr. Reid, and
the CNN Bash person. I also have simple confidence
that Barry Soetoro (aka: Barry Obama) will disgorge
all of his personal and historical required records
      currently being hidden and protected.

As I’ve already said, Mitt can destroy Reid, because he has the only info that is the truth. And there’s no chance of Reid wiggling out of that truth, proving clear and convincingly the real nature of Reid’s amazing claims.

Go Mitt !!! While it’s not really his true character, if Mitt could summon up more of this spirit and gumption against Obama until November,,,,,then he may have even a better chance of becoming our next President.

Mitt, stand up for yourself even more than you already have and fight, fight, fight for what you believe in. Those principals have made Romney in to the man he is today which happens to be an incredibly successful one.

I think it’s time for Mitt to bring out the big guns and stop being so damn nice to all of his opponents, his harshest critics and the biggest hypocrites alive which would be the entire Democratic Party.

#2 P.Enemy… “awkwardly showcases his enormous wealth”.??????

Who exactly is that awkward for except for you obviously? Mitt Romney had nothing handed to him in his Iife when he first started out…he EARNED his wealth and success you Jackwagon.

So is it your contention then that Americans should be penalized then for being successful Investors with their personal wealth then? Should that be the case, then Michelle and Barack Obama should also not be millionares who made over $5.5M last year and maybe Barry shouldn’t have written those books he sells?

Seriously, shut up because you are just another Libtard and you are embarrassing.

      And extremely jealous.

    9. WEBIII on August 4th, 2012 5:50 am

I’d really would rather Reid just pack up and leave which isn’t going to happen either. This guy, his sister Nancy and brother Joe have become the biggest joke that capital hill has ever saw (and that list includes Carter and Nixon).

We all know how poor those honest Kerry’s are. You know, the Heinz family? His money makes Mitt look like a pauper. Kennedys same thing. So rich it is not possible for most of us “99 percenters” to visualize that kind of wealth. Yet I hear none of the left crying they have any problems with those folks (support$) having so much money.

obama, pelosi, and reid have completely disgraced the offices they have held. and along with them i include the legions of liberal underlings who come out at 7:30 every morning, all wild-eyed and grinning like jackasses eating sawbriars to explain how obama didn’t really say what he read off his teleprompter the day before.
