When in Doubt, Play the Race Card … “You Didn’t Build That” Resonates Because Obama Spoke in “Black Dialect”

When it comes to defending Barack Obama, when all else fails … it has got to be racism.

Once again we are presented with the Left’s ultimate shameful truth, that if it is bad for President Barack Obama, it is racist. When will the Leftist, bias in the tank for Barack Obama ever learn? It is not about the color of Obama’s skin or his “black dialect,” it is about his far Left, socialist policies and redistribution of wealth. Not just to the “lazy blacks” as the author of this piece shamefully wrote,  but to all persons who would rather leach than produce.  What a joke. Do libs realize just how insanely foolish they look when they continually cry racism to make excuses for this president when none exists? If the Left really thinks that Obama’s comment, “you didn’t build that” did not go over well was because of racism, Democrats will get crushed in the 2012 elections.

The key thing is that Obama is angry, and he’s talking not in his normal voice but in a “black dialect.” This strikes at the core of Obama’s entire political identity: a soft-spoken, reasonable African-American with a Kansas accent. From the moment he stepped onto the national stage, Obama’s deepest political fear was being seen as a “traditional” black politician, one who was demanding redistribution from white America on behalf of his fellow African-Americans.

How sad that this is how the MSM analyzes events.

As Jammie Wearing Fool stated, “It can’t be that he’s a failed president. It must be because of his skin color. So glad we’ve moved beyond race, aren’t we? A note to Barack Obama and the bias liberal MSM complex, “You Didn’t Build That” was bad for Obama not because he said it with a black dialect, it was because he actually said it and believes it.

Who is tired of continually being called a racist,l simply because you do not agree with Obama’s policies and agenda? I would dare say many individuals who voted for Obama in 2008 fall into this category. Obama will feel “We the People” political wrath in November because frankly, Americans are tired of being tired and exhausted with this trivial, name calling, ever blaming president.

When Obama was campaigning in ’08 I don’t recall him speaking in his “southern black preacher” voice. What a phony he is!

Abandoned by his parents early on, this lost soul latched
on to Islam, dope, Frank Marshall Davis, Reverend Jeremiah
Wright, Sol Alinsky, Bill Ayers, Van Jones, and a host of other
radical misfits. Who among us doubts that regurgitating that
wild potpourri of influences in the quest for recognition and
power is Barry Soetoro’s fantasy trip?

Barack Obama has not changed. His previous associations prove that. He’ll say anything to win, but many of his “just words” are very telling if one actually listens instead of being mesmerized by what the liberal media says he said.

The man is a serial liar and a socialist end of story. The question is do we want this man in office as a lame duck president. I say HELL NO!

I want to make sure I understand this. The New York magazine (nymag.com) is part of the “MSM”, and represents the “Left” as well as “libs” in general.

I happen to find most of that rather hard to believe, but that is what I think the opening paragraph (and more) has described, in rather clear language.

@5: you make an interesting Obama comment on what is a media story. Just a good excuse to make an ad hominem attack even though Obama is the side topic here.

      Classy.

BTW what the hell are you talking about; not having a lame duck official in office. Kinda counter to the definition of what lame duck is.

lame duck. n. 1. a. An elected officeholder or group continuing in office during the period between failure to win an election and the inauguration of a successor.

      Stunning!

SM: Don’t worry RK, Obama has more than used the race card enough during his term in office to more than count as just a side topic. The Obamamessiah was supposed to help bring the races together. Instead he made matters worse by using the race card as a crutch at every opportunity.

Dawg was not raising a race topic, and I never mentioned race to Dawg either. In rereading your article, it never mentions Obama making any race-related comments either.

I hope I was clear in #6 that I was not commenting on the story except to point out that Dawg was not referring to the story either. That and he was apparently reinventing part of our language (why, who knows?).

With all due respect, I don’t know why you would reply to me regarding race; there seems to be no connection or relevance to it. I’m not even sure why you care about what I say to Dawg; I assume he is capable of handling my comment without help.

SM: Excuse me, do not ever tell me how I can or cannot comment on my own website. Understand mon aime! I am saying it because that is the gist of this post. Obama’s “you didn’t build it” was said with a black dialect, remember that, what the actually post was about in the first place?

As for Obama is a socialist and a liar, gee really, who unless they are an Obama Kool-aid drinking, head in the sand sycophant doesn’t think that? Obama hates capitalism, he is all about socialism and the redistribution of wealth. It comes from his upbringing and mentors throughout the years. They fact that his peeps cant be honest about it is quite telling. As for a liar … LOL, he is the “Lying King”.

He was supposed to be the most transparent President and was going to change the way things were done in DC. HAHAHAHA, this coming from Mr. Negative, false ads because The One cannot run on his 3+ year record as President.

A RACIST, a COMMUNIST, disguised as a COMMUNITY ORGANIZER. It’s unbelievable how he filterated through the system as an AMERICAN!!!!!!!

@8: I see; that explains everything quite clearly.

SM: You have a right to your opinion, you have a right to make that comment in a respectful manner. You don’t have a right to tell others how or when to comment. That being said, differing opinions are welcome, as long as they are not talking points and off topic.

We will agree to disagree, probably will not be the last time.

As far as staying on topic, I agree; well said. I was not trying to limit anyone’s comments; I was just not understanding the thread of comments, and how they were linked and related.

In my view, it was not clear that Dawg’s comment related to the article in any material way. I can’t see a single word of his that connects with what was said in the original post.

That said, I also know and freely admit my reply to his comment didn’t refer to the article; although I did directly respond to his words, which I thought would be at least as relevant (no less relevant than his words, IMO).

Lastly, if everyone agreed in their opinions, it would likely be less useful than varying viewpoints. I would guess it would also be rather boring. Your sentiment on this is perfect, IMO.
