There is only one reason that we are paying the price we see at the pump. The federal government is to blame through its policies at the worthless departments of energy and the EPA.
As soon as we have a spike in the price of crude, the speculators in the market bump the price at the pump. That is also a part of the problem. It takes several weeks for the crude purcased today at a price point to reach refineries to be processed.
and the prices tend to drop at a slower rate then when they rise.
Bend over and let them drive you home.
There is also a sinister reason why gas has gone up: it funds Muslim terrorist groups al qaeda and the Taliban. A former Muslim Terrorist Walid Shoebat talked about this at a Christian Prophecy Conference held by Chuck Missler back in May 2008. I happened to work that event and heard Shoebat mention it. I made sure not to forget this, as Shoebat is an insider to the Taliban and al Qaeda; he used to belong to one of these groups back in the late 1970s as a teenage recruit through the early 1990s when he converted to Christianity and left.
