Any Excuse for a Party … Barack Obama Celebrates Hanukkah, the Festival of Lights, Two Weeks Early …

Who knew that it was Hanukkah already?

The fact is, it is not. However, President Barack Obama decided to celebrate Hanukkah two weeks early. As Obama stated, “We never need an excuse for a good party.” Really Mr. President? That’s what you think of the Jewish holiday of Hanukkah? It’s just an excuse to have a good party? Oy Vey.

With what Obama has done for Jews lately, is it any wonder why he would celebrate it when ever he damn well felt like it. Because after in the end, all things have to be done on The One’s time, not what traditions states. What a slap in the face.

From the AP

President Barack Obama is marking Hanukkah as a story of “faith over doubt.”

Obama, first lady Michelle Obama and Vice President Joe Biden convened a Hanukkah celebration at the White House Thursday in an early celebration of the Jewish Festival of Lights.

Obama said the Hanukkah story was about “right over might, faith over doubt.” In the Hanukkah story, a small band of Jews rededicating a Jerusalem temple found that a one-day supply of oil kindled a flame instead for eight.

The Gateway Pundit reports that Obama even lit all the candles. Geez.  The Lonely Conservative has the pic via Drudge. Because lets get our priorities straight, Obama will most likely be in Hawaii at the beach and golfing when Hanukkah actually begins.

UPDATE I: As stated at the Weekly Standard,I bet many unemployed Americans and one’s who have lost their homes and business are not laughing.

But with unemployment at 8.6 percent, and with many having already quit looking for a job, I doubt many Americans would be heartened to hear the president saying he “never need[s] an excuse for a good party.”

Seeing that Barack Obama has no issue with dates and tradition of when things occur, can we move up the 2012 elections to next week as well?

      he has no clue.

i pray for my country everyday, that we may be rid of him, sooner rather than later!

I believe that he is a muslim in hiding. He has no interest in celebrating a Christian or a Jewish holiday or any western event.

Joe Biden should know the correct date. He is a fool for joining in this fake celebration.

Faith over doubt? Faith in him? I don’t think so. President Reagan used to say, “Trust, but verify.” He said it in Russian. I wish I could remember the Russian, but it is appropriate today in any language. In fact, just leave off the trust part. Verify. I agree with southernsue that we need to be rid of him. However, in our system, we have to wait until the next election cycle, when we have the opportunity to boot his behind out of Washington. That is, if he allows an election and there are those of us who believe he will declare martial law and cancel elections. I hope we are wrong.

President ‘Light ‘em Up!’….there he goes again!
For the convenience of the Cattleman rather than
for the Cattle (herd/masses). Being essentially
without a President for the last three years is
definitely painful for freedom loving Americans!
