When the Going gets Tough … The Tough get Going … Barack Obama Off to Hawaii for Another Vacation

When the going gets tough, the tough get going … I guess Barack Obama misunderstood the meaning of this saying.

Unemployment is through the roof, millions of Americans are jobless, record numbers are on food stamps and federal spending is out of control. So what does President Barack Obama do … goes on a 17 day vacation of course to Hawaii. Many Americans struggle to pay their mortgage and try to have some semblance of a Christmas for their children due to the continued terrible economy, yet out non-leader sets the example by showing, he is not of the people. How could Obama perceive that this is the right thing to do? 17 days? There are only 12 Days of Christmas.

While most Americans are lucky to get a few weeks of holiday every year, it seems the country’s leader gets a little more freedom in the matter.

President Barack Obama has announced his Christmas vacation to Hawaii – for a staggering 17-day trip.

Obama, who visited the island just two weeks ago for an economic summit, will head to Honolulu on Saturday December 17 until Monday January 2.

Could a President be more out of touch with the American people? Why does it seem like this President is just after the perks of the office and could care less about the job? When you have a job approval rating prior to reelection worse than Jimmy Carter, the last thing you need to be doing is taking 17 day vacations. Sorry.

Happy holidays Mr. President, would like to see you starting the election year well rested and all fired-up.

what else has this phony accomplished ? a few hundred golf outings . family vacations paid for by the taxpayers. free trips in the name of politics, but nothing done. billions of tax dollars wasted and probably hoarded for the next election. signing his daughters up as senior staff members so their half million dollar vacation to his homeland is paid for by the taxpayer. unlimited corruption by the losercrats.

So the man takes another vacation on the taxpayer’s dime.

      I say, let him.

Seventeen days away from the White House is another seventeen days he has less to really screw something up during his term in office.

actually Obama leaves the country or goes on vacation to keep his Rasmussen “passion” rate from falling through the floor. Notice that every time it reaches for a new “high”, he leaves until it comes around a bit.

Why not point out that George W. Bush in 8 years in the White House spent 487 days at Camp David and 490 days on his Ranch in Texas for a total of 977 days of vacation. George W. Bush took more days of vacation in his first year than Pres. Obama has taken in a little over 3 years. So, make certain you tell the entire story. Also throw in Ronald Reagan who took the second most vacation time of any President, as well as getting to the office at 9:00 am, taking a 2 hour nap from 12:00-2:00, and leaving the office at 4:00-4:30
      _______________
SM: Because one’s ranch … that would be their home, is not Hawaii or Martha’s Vineyard. How much money do you think it cost tax payers to stay home?

If you have not figured it out yet, it is the perception. Obama hasn’t a clue and has no connection with the American people. Sorry if you missed the point that with so many people out of work, losing or lost their homes and on welfare, food stamps and unemployment that their so-called leader would go on a vacation.

As Obama and Michelle say … “Let the peons eat cake”.

why not point out that democrats have no place in American politics. they would be more suited to Iran.

I love how the liberals cry Bush did it too all the time. Well by that logic Obama is no better than Bush so why should we keep him as Pres?

I think I’m with the A.B.O. (Anybody but Obama) crowd if the republicans can manage to pull off marketing 2 worthy competitors for the job. I think its the class warfare that bugs me most. I think the democrats want people dependent on the government. The other thing is every single bill that comes up has to have the tax the rich thing attached to it which dooms these budget bills to failure. Some republicans are to blame too… for all the spending that the federal government won’t draw the line on to curb the national debt. Personally, I think Governors Walker and Christy and others are doing the right thing. The national government should follow suit and defund federal unions… just my thoughts. We need to learn who all the Democrats and Republicans are, who wrongly spend our money, and vote for bad bills, and throw every bum out of office including who spends wrongly our tax revenues, including Obama.

Sorry… I did not edit my last sentence above too well. You get my drift though with the problems that pose this country and this administration, and the seeming ineptness of the administration to make good on any promises. I think had he ended the wars, or war in Afghanistan he might have even won me over a little more. It appears he wants to maintain if not even increase the size of the military…. Right now I hope for the Ron Paul upsets in the primaries to make good on ending the wars and solving the federal deficit….

Libtard Nancy….you can’t prove you libtard lies. GW Bush NEVER vacationed in Hawaii or Martha’s Vineyard you idiot. He was at him home in Texas or at Camp David; it’s certainly not Hawaii or Mass. Going home or to Camp David is certainly NOT vacation time. Many foreign leaders visited Bush at his home in Crawford; so he was conducting some business.

Prove Reagan had the 2nd most vacation days and DO NOT link some libtard leaning RAG!

None of things you say are true but the typical libtard tree hugging talking points which nobody with a brain believes.

Obama has played more rounds of golf in his first 3 years then Bush did in 8! And that’s not counting the fact that Obama has people to the WH for pick-up basketball games!

Getting a (edit) clue moron! Go take a long walk on a short pier!

#5 and #1: I see you are both sucking off the government teat. Guess what, soon there won’t be any more milk.

Hope Obama enjoys his vacation in “Asia”
