African Americans Back Tea Parties More than the Occupy Wall Street Protesters
A funny thing happened on the way to the OWS protests …
It turns out that the Occupy Wall Street protesters are not being embraced by blacks. In fact, the 1.6% of blacks that make up the OWS protesters is even less than that who support the Tea Party. So why isn’t the OWS movement diverse? Better question is why isn’t the MSM calling them RACISTS for not being diverse like they did with the Tea Party?
Occupy Wall Street might seem like a movement that would resonate with black Americans. After all, unemployment among African Americans is at 15 percent, vs. almost 8 percent for whites. And between 2005 and 2009, black households lost just over half of their median net worth compared with white families, who lost 16 percent, according to the Pew Research Center.
However, these numbers have not translated into action. A few prominent African Americans, such as Cornel West, Russell Simmons, Kanye West and Rep. John Lewis (D-Ga.), have made appearances at Occupy protests. “Occupy the Hood,” a recent offshoot, has tried to get more people of color involved. But the main movement remains overwhelmingly white: A Fast Company survey last month found that African Americans, who are 12.6 percent of the U.S. population, make up only 1.6 percent of Occupy Wall Street.
The Gateway Pundit reminds us that a past, the Tea Party has more support from blacks and minorities that the Obama endorsed Occupy Wall Street protests. As the WAPO questions, shouldn’t blacks be for the OWS movement, after all they are more adversely affected than whites by the economy, unemployment and banks. The libs just cannot believe that they do not have any diversity in support of the OWS anti-capitalist protests. Maybe it is because blacks are actually interested in real issues that affect them at home, locally in their lives. Putting on a farcical show of living in tents, doing drugs, raping, sexually assaulting and committing vandalism is not part of what blacks believe in of making a difference.
Is there a chance that the movement can become more diverse? Leslie Wilson, a professor of African American history at Montclair State University, is not optimistic.
“Occupy Wall Street cannot produce enough change to encourage certain types of black participation,” Wilson said in an interview. “The church cannot get enough blacks out on the streets. Some students will go, but not the masses. Black folks, particularly older ones, do not think that this is going to lead to change. .?.?. This generation has already been beaten down and is hurting. They are not willing to risk what little they have for change. Those who are wealthier are not willing to risk and lose.”
Black America’s fight for income equality is not on Wall Street, but is a matter of day-to-day survival. The more pressing battles are against tenant evictions, police brutality and street crime. This group doesn’t see a reason to join the amorphous Occupiers.
So where is the MSM stories and OPED’s calling the OWS crowd racist? If they have any journalistic integrity, if they claimed the Tea party was for a lack of involvement from blacks … they more than would have to do so with the incredible lack of support for the Occupy Wall Street movement. Don’t hold your breath on that one.

NH’s Union County Leader Newspaper Disses Romney … Endorses Newt Gingrich for President
Newt Gingrich get endorsement from the Union Leader.
Mitt Romney, the former Governor of Massachusetts, has an overwhelming 41% to 14% lead over GOP Presidential hopeful Gingrich in the polls leading up to the New Hampshire primaries. New Hampshire’s popular and influential newspaper, the Union Leader, has endorsed Newt Gingrich for President. Whether such endorsements have as much political influence as they used to is yet to be seen. However, what cannot be denied is the continued momentum of the former Speaker of the House, Newt Gingrich.
This newspaper endorses Newt Gingrich in the New Hampshire Presidential Primary.
America is at a crucial crossroads. It is not going to be enough to merely replace Barack Obama next year. We are in critical need of the innovative, forward-looking strategy and positive leadership that Gingrich has shown he is capable of providing.
He did so with the Contract with America. He did it in bringing in the first Republican House in 40 years and by forging balanced budgets and even a surplus despite the political challenge of dealing with a Democratic President. A lot of candidates say they’re going to improve Washington. Newt Gingrich has actually done that, and in this race he offers the best shot of doing it again.
Newt Gingrich is by no means the perfect candidate. But Republican primary voters too often make the mistake of preferring an unattainable ideal to the best candidate who is actually running. In this incredibly important election, that candidate is Newt Gingrich. He has the experience, the leadership qualities and the vision to lead this country in these trying times. He is worthy of your support on January 10.
It is hard to imagine that Gingrich could defeat Romney in the Granite state as Romney still has political endorsements from NH politicians including former Gov. John Sununu, former US Sen. Judd Gregg, and US Sen. Kelly Ayotte. However, a strong second place showing for Gingrich could go a long way.

Syracuse Sex Scandal: Home of Coach Bernie Fine Searched by Police & U.S. Secret Service
Bring in the Feds …
Officers from the US Secret Service, Syracuse police and the US Attorney’s General office have combined forces to search the home of Syracuse University assistant coach Bernie Fine in DeWitt, NY in connection with the accusations of sexual misconduct allegations. Fine’s home was reportedly searched by the Feds for some 7 hours yesterday; however, no official comment was made as regards to the reason for the search, the investigation or any discoveries. The feds have obviously been called in as the allegations of sexual molestation have to have crossed state lines and federal charges could be made in the future.
New York State Police spokesman Jack Keller said troopers were called to assist the U.S. attorney’s office at the search. According to The Post-Standard newspaper, officers from the U.S. Secret Service and Syracuse police were part of the search team.
Assistant U.S. Attorney William Pericak said he “can’t confirm or deny” an investigation.
“We don’t comment on whether or not search warrants are being executed — we only comment at the time of public events,” Pericak said. “I’m not saying there was or wasn’t one here. But when you get a search warrant that’s sealed, it remains sealed until a court unseals it.”
He said the goal is to avoid “a trial in the press.”
Bobby Davis and his stepbrother Mike Lang, two former ball boys for the Syracuse basketball team, have alleged that they were molested more than 25 years ago by Fine. Presently, Fine is on administrative leave and has denied the charges, stating the claims of sexual molestation are “patently false.”

VP Joe Biden to Obama’s Rescue in Three Battle Ground States of Ohio, Pennsylvania and Florida
Talk about a big “F’n” deal …
How bad is it for Barack Obama and his reelection chances in 2012? Obama has dispatched VP Joe Biden to the battleground states of Ohio, Pennsylvania and Florida. YIKES!!! My how the mighty Obama has fallen. Obama won Ohio (52%-47%), Pennsylvania (55%-44%) and Florida (51%-48%) in 2008. Now Obama finds himself in a desperate way in all three states as he has managed to lose the Jewish, blue collar and Independent vote.
A year from Election Day, Democrats are crafting a campaign strategy for Vice President Joe Biden that targets the big three political battlegrounds: Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Florida, states where Biden might be more of an asset to President Barack Obama’s re-election campaign than the president himself.
The Biden plan underscores an uncomfortable reality for the Obama team. A shaky economy and sagging enthusiasm among Democrats could shrink the electoral map for Obama in 2012, forcing his campaign to depend on carrying the 67 electoral votes up for grabs in the three swing states.
Obama won all three states in 2008. But this time he faces challenges in each, particularly in Ohio and Florida, where voters elected Republican governors in the 2010 midterm elections.
So Obama’s answer for help in these three swing states is Joe Biden. Really, imagine that? Many have thought that Obama should swap out Biden for Hillary Clinton for the VP spot. Now we see that a desperate Obama needs Joe to appeal the the common folk and those individuals who cling to their Bibles and guns.
Sorry Democrats, if Joe Biden is your secret weapon to win OH, PA and FL … you are in deep trouble. Take a good look at what the three swing states have in store for them … go get ‘em Joe. EESH!!!

Joran Van der Sloot’s Peru Murder Trail Set for January 2012 in Death of Stephany Flores
It’s been a long time in coming, but finally the little Dutch boy Joran Van der Sloot’s murder trial is set for January 2012.
Joran Van der Sloot, the main suspect in the 2005 death and disappearance of Natlee Holloway in Aruba, will finally face justice for his involvement in the murder of 21 year old Stephany Flores in Peru. Van der Sloot’s murder trial will begin on January 6, 2011. Van der Sloot is being tried with a “qualified murder” and simple robbery, which carry sentences of 28 years and two years. However, the family of Stephany Flores is still holding out for aggravated murder against Joran Van der Sloot, which carries a maximum sentence of life in prison. Van der Sloot is accused of killing Stephany Flores five years to the day that he was also accused of killing Natalee Holloway. Of course there is no coincidence there. Van der Sloot had initially confessed to killing Flores, but following his same MO as with the Natalee Holloway case, Joran retracted his confession. Van der Sloot had also confessed and implicated himself in the death and disappearance of Natalee Holloway; however, Aruba authorities let his go free. Thank you Aruba for allowing this predator to go free and kill again.
Natalee Holloway, Joran Van der Sloot, Stephany Flores
The timetable from the Superior Court of Lima came days after a panel of judges ruled against having the Dutch national face an even more stringent slate of charges, as the victim’s family members had requested. Instead, he will face the original charges levied against him — which, if he is convicted on all counts, could lead to a maximum sentence of 30 years in prison.
Van der Sloot is accused of killing Stephany Flores in his Lima hotel room last year. Police say he took money and bank cards from her wallet and fled to Chile, where he was arrested a few days later.
He was charged in September with “qualified murder” and simple robbery, which carry sentences of 28 years and two years, respectively.
However, this is not the end of the justice line for Joran Van der Sloot. The sporter also faces extradition charges to the United States in connection with the wire fraud and extortion indictments from a federal grand jury in Alabama in 2010. Joran Van der Sloot attempted to extort $250,000 from Natalee Holloway’s mother, Beth Holloway.
Will there finally be Justice for Stephany? Joran Van der Sloot is finally getting what should have come to him years ago. Just say Karma, baby.

Barack Obama & MSNBC’s Ed Schultz Make GQ’s “25 Least Influential People Alive”
Here is some change you can believe in … Obama among the 25 least influential.
It is that time of year already when we have the lists of the best, worst, most and least of 2011. According to GQ, President Barack Obama and MSNBC’s talking loon Ed Schultz have made the list of the “25 Least Influential People Alive”.
MSNBC’s Ed Schultz comes in at #3. Ouch.
…Then there pundits like Ed Schultz. Do you watch “The Ed Show” on MSNBC? Of course you don’t. No one does. The only reason people watch “The Ed Show” is they’re working out in a hotel gym and they can’t find a staff member to change the channel to ESPN.
Hehehe.
According to TVN, Obama came in 25th. Can’t wait to see the explanation.
Although most people are saying Ed who? The fact that Barack Obama, the Obamamessiah, The One … the man who was going to transform the Democrat party and transcend politics as we know it is #25 shows just has far Obama’s star has fallen. In order to be influential as President, one must first be a leader. Something that Obama has failed miserably. TV Newser has the others that made the list.
It is the underlying mood in the country that Obama has been a total and complete failure as President. When a sitting President who the MSM touts as being the answer to all problems makes such a list … HOUSTON OBAMA, YOU GOT A PROBLEM.
See you at the ballot box in 2012.

Yup, once again we are witness to the facts that the Occupy protesters are nothing like the Tea Party.
Hold the phone, earlier this week it was reported that the Occupy protesters had cost the American tax payers $13 million. Needless to say, it ha been adjusted up. Good grief, as per the calculations at Verum Serum and some adjustments by the Gateway Pundit … the price tag continues to climb at the expense of the American tax payers. This Occupy protest movement is nothing more than a drain upon America. What else should we expect from an Obama endorsed movement, except that what would cause a drain on America.

Occupy South Carolina Sympathizer Arrested for Facebook Threats to Kill SC Governor Nikki Haley
The Occupy protesters continue to prove they are nothing like the Tea Party.
A South Carolina man who was an Occupy SC sympathizer has been arrested for Facebook threats he made against Governor Nikki Haley. Nathan Shafer was arrested for threatening to kill Haley as he posted, “I hope someone murders you before I do.” How ignorant could one be? However, when you think that you an Occupy protest sympathizer, you expect to get away with everything and have no consequences for your actions. Isn’t that what the movement has been about from the start?
A South Carolina man is accused of threatening the life of Gov. Nikki Haley on Facebook, but he claims he was only making a point about free speech.
When 26-year-old Nathan Shafer heard about the arrests of 19 Occupy Columbia members outside the State House last Wednesday, he did what lots of people do when they get angry — he vented about it on the Internet. He saw Gov. Haley’s Facebook post about the arrests and Haley’s comment that she “appreciate[s] freedom of speech,” and that’s when authorities say Shafer crossed the line.
“I hope someone murders you before I do,” Shafer said he commented on the post. “How’s that for freedom of speech?”
BRILLIANT IDIOT! I guess this Occupy brain surgeon never learned that making threats to kill some one was protected speech. But wait, this Occupy sympathizer thinks that this has been blown out of proprtion.Really? For any individual to call for death threats against anyone, no matter what political party, should be deemed reasonable and credible. Should we ignore the obvious and have another situation occur like in the case of the Tuscan massacre and the near death of Arizona House Rep Gabby Giffords?
At issue, according to the court, is whether a “reasonable person” would view the statement in question as a genuine threat. In Shafer’s case, that remains to be seen.
Sorry, I do not care whether such a threat was made against Barack Obama or Nikki Haley, such acts should never be tolerated. In this day and age how can anyone really determine whether a “reasonable person” would view the statement in question as a genuine threat. Because the threat is coming for an “unreasonable person.” Allow this crap to continue and it will never stop. We are supposed to be a nation of laws, not a nation where anarchy rules. Sorry, but the US Constitution was never intended to protect smarmy SOB cowards from hiding behind their keyboards making death threats.
At some point a message has to be sent to the keyboard cowards, that there are consequences to your death threat actions.

MISSING JUSTICE: Aruba Learned Nothing from Natalee Holloway: Like Joran Van der Sloot, Like Gary Giordano … Aruba Judge Orders Release of Murder Suspect in Death & Disappearance of Robyn Gardner
ARUBA, NO BODY NO CRIME … Oops, They Did It Again … ARUBA … THE NEW KILLING FIELDS.
Can anyone say that they are not surprised with the news out of Aruba and that they did it over an American long weekend Thanksgiving Day holiday? An Aruba judge has ordered the release of Gary Giordano without any conditions. Giordano is the 50 year old Gaithersburg, Maryland man who has been jailed in Aruba and the primary suspect in the death and disappearance of American travel companion Robyn Gardner.
Visit msnbc.com for breaking news, world news, and news about the economy
A judge in Aruba on Friday ordered the release of U.S. businessman Gary Giordano, who was detained in connection with the August death of his traveling companion.
The judge said Giordano, a 50-year-old employment agency owner from Gaithersburg, Maryland, must be freed on Tuesday without any conditions.
ITS DEJA VU ALL OVER AGAIN. If this does not reeks of the Natalee Holloway case all over again. The Aruba LE and prosecutors have done it again. They have failed to make a case, in an obvious one that Giordano killed his travel companion and will profit from her death. First we were witness to Joran Van der Sloot, Deepak Kalpoe and Satish Kalpoe being released from jail in the case of the death and disappearance of Natalee Holloway. Now Aruba has a twofer, Giordano will be released in the death and disappearance of Robyn Gardner. UNREAL. No Body, No Crime … NO JUSTICE!
Some Caribbean islands are known as tax haven shelters due to their lax rules on taxes and privacy. However, Aruba now has to be known as the “killing fields” island. How can it not be thought that if one wants to kill their girlfriend, spouse or travel companion … just go to Aruba, take out a life insurance policy in advance, make yourself the beneficiary and then kill her. In Aruba … NO BODY NO CRIME, get you off of murder charges. Imagine knowing that all one has to do is make sure a body of your murder victim never needs to be found, and you skate. Of course not without first making sure you can make money off killing them.
To make matters worse, fresh off the miscarriage of justice in the death of Caylee Anthony in the murder trial of Casey Anthony in Orlando, FL, we have a smug Jose Baez claiming the innocence of his client Giordano, when we all know differently. One day Jose, karma is going to come back and bite you in the a$$, as it is you who does not pass the laugh test. Wow Jose, what a limb you went out on becoming a murderers defense attorney in Aruba. Geez Vegas odds have it as even money for Aruba to ever successfully prosecute a murder suspect.
Gary Giordano’s lawyer, Jose Baez, told ABC News that Giordano would be freed Tuesday night at 8 p.m. and could be home as early as Wednesday.
“Gary had a chance to speak, and the judge listened to him,” Baez said. “He made a heartfelt plea — explained the situation.”
“Justice delayed is justice denied,” Baez said.
Prosecutors admitted that they had no body, no murder weapon and no solid motive. But over the past few months, they believed they had accumulated enough circumstantial evidence to keep him jailed for a while.
The judge thought differently.
During today’s short proceeding, Giordano was allowed to explain his situation, according to Baez, who also defended Casey Anthony.
“It doesn’t even pass the laugh test,” Baez said today on “Good Morning America.”
