Call it the Occupy Porn Protest Against Unfair Ban on Pornography in Connecticut Prisons
First there was “Occupy Wall Street,” will there now be “Occupy Porn” coming soon to a prison near you.
Prisoners of the Connecticut Department of Corrections have begun a letter writing protest against the porn ban calling it unfair. Connecticut prisons announced that it would be banning all material that contains “pictorial depictions of sexual activity or nudity” from the prisons beginning next summer. Of course some how prisoners think they have a right to porn.
A group of prisoners has begun a letter-writing campaign to protest what they see as an unfair ban on pornography inside the state’s correctional institutions.
The Department of Correction announced in July that it would be banning all material that contains “pictorial depictions of sexual activity or nudity” from the prisons beginning next summer.
The state says the ban is intended to improve the work environment for prison staffers, especially female staffers, who might be inadvertently exposed to pornography.
Maybe the Occupy Wall Street crowd can coop this protest and head off to Connecticut prisons to protest?
Fast & Furious High Powered Assault Weapons Found in Mexico Drug Cartel Enforcer’s Home
Drip, Drip, Drip …
The saga continues of the ‘Fast and Furious’ program that Barack Obama’s Attorney General claims he knew nothing about. More High-powered assault weapons purchased as a result if the ATF’s ‘Fast and Furious’ program have found their way into the hands of Mexican drug cartel members. This time Mexican authorities seized 24 AK-47 rifles, two rifles, Barrett 50-caliber antiaircraft machine gun Browning caliber 30 caliber rifle sniper 308 for a 40 mm caliber grenade launcher and three 308 mm caliber guns. Just another case of a Mexican drug cartel hit man hoarding Fast and Furious weapons … so why hasn’t there been a special prosecutor appointed yet to investigate this scandal?
Reporting from Washington— High-powered assault weapons illegally purchased under the ATF’s Fast and Furious program in Phoenix ended up in a home belonging to the purported top Sinaloa cartel enforcer in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico, whose organization was terrorizing that city with the worst violence in the Mexican drug wars.
In all, 100 assault weapons acquired under Fast and Furious were transported 350 miles from Phoenix to El Paso, making that West Texas city a central hub for gun traffickers. Forty of the weapons made it across the border and into the arsenal of Jose Antonio Torres Marrufo, a feared cartel leader in Ciudad Juarez, according to federal court records and trace documents from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
Many have questioned AG Eric Holder on when and how much he knew about the Fast and Furious scandal. Arizona Sheriffs have demanded an investigation and asked for Holder to resign. However, Holder continues to deny knowledge of the Fast and Furious program and stands by his statements, even though emails state something quite to the contrary. President Barack Obama might want to backtrack on his full support of Eric Holder … yet another reason why not to vote for Obama in 2012.
Can you imagine if a Republican was in office when ‘Fast and Furious’ occurred, the MSM would be billing it as Watergate II.

Occupy Wall Street Protesters Like the Tea Party, Eh … Man Deficates on NYC Police Car, Liberal Lies Part 274
So the “Occupy Wall Street” protesters are like the Tea Party, really? Not even close … Oh the hypocrisy.
President Barack Obama, Nancy Pelosi, Democrats and the bias MSM have tried to compare the Leftist/Socialist/Anarchist “Occupy” protester crowd as being like the Tea Party”. Really? This coming after support of the anti-Wall Street crowd from President Obama and Nancy Pelosi. However, if the LEFT thinks that the “Occupy” protesters are like the Tea Party, wouldn’t that mean that the “Occupy Wall Street” folks would be “Nazi’s carrying swastikas”, “Brown Shirts”, “astro-turfers”, “Not-American” , “extremists” and “Evil Mongers”?
Pelosi: “they are independent, young, spontaneous and focused”
However, unlike the demonization that Democrats did when it came to the Tea Party, folks like Democrat House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi praised the Wall Street protesters … “God Bless them”. The LEFT claims that the “Occupy” protesters are the counter to the Tea Party, they got that right.
Pelosi said that the Wall Street protesters were young, spontaneous and focused. Huh? The protest has been co-oped by organized labor unions and as for focused, you cannot get a common answer from 5 different people, let alone if they even know why they are protesting. As aptly stated at the Jawa Report, Pelosi’s tag line should have been … “S#it Happens.”
Pic: Daily Mail - Raw sewer: An unidentified man seen defecates on a NYPD patrol car in downtown Manhattan
From the UK Mail comes the following incident and picture of a man defecating on a NYC police car amid the Occupy Wall Street protests. When was the last time you ever saw such a thing occur at a Tea Party rally? The answer, NEVER! Also being reported is the piles of trash and unsanitary conditions that are being created. Another thing you will never hear reported from a Tea Party rally.
This are the shocking scenes that have led some people to accuse the Occupy Wall Street protesters living rough in New York’s financial district of creating unsanitary and filthy conditions.
Exclusive pictures obtained by Mail Online show one demonstrator relieving himself on a police car.
Elsewhere we found piles of stinking refuse clogging Zucotti Park, despite the best efforts of many of the protesters to keep the area clean.
The shocking images demonstrate the extent to which conditions have deteriorated as demonstrations in downtown Manhattan enter their fourth week. Further pictures seen by Mail Online have been censored, as we deemed them too graphic to show.
As discussed at the Lonely Conservative via the New York Times, not all of the protesters are crapping on police cars, some of the protesters are actually using the restrooms of local businesses, after being told by organizers to “feel free to refresh yourself in the restrooms of neighboring businesses like Burger King and McDonald’s without feeling obligated to buy anything.” Huh, two questions, didn’t the LEFT say that because of one perceived racist incident at a Tea Party event, that meant all Tea Party go’ers were racist? Second, how ironic that Wall Street protesters would use bathrooms of the very evil capitalist business that they are supposedly protesting.
UPDATE I: Confirmed … at the Tea Party sponsored event yesterday in Nashville, TN to “Stand Up with Gibson Guitars, there were no reports of any deification incidents on police vehicles.

WE STAND WITH GIBSON RALLY … Pics … Great Crowd Showed Up in Support of Gibson Guitar, Part I
WE STAND WITH GIBSON RALLY A SUCCESS IN NASHVILLE …
National and local Tea Party groups as well as concerned citizens from numerous states as far away as California came out in force today in Nashville, TN at the Scoreboard in support of Gibson Guitar and the overreaching abuse of power shown by Obama’s administration. Is there anything more American than Gibson guitar? What really is the reason why they would be stormed by armed federal agents like they were a Mexican drug cartel? All over wood … “We Stand with Gibson”.
The “WE STAND WITH GIBSON” rally included music with Grant Austin Taylor, Madison Rising, Rivoli Review and Christa Branch, local talk radio personality Phil Valentine and Mark Skoda, Amy Kremer of the Tea Party Express, Ben Cunningham of the Tennessee Tax Revolt and US Representative Marsha Blackburn (TN-R).
The order of the day … “We Stand with Gibson”
Since when do we treat American companies like this? As previously stated by the Tea Party Express, “We have to stand up to this overbearing tactics by the federal government and that is why we are partnering with other grassroots organizations across the country to stand with Gibson Guitars!”
Tennessee US Rep Marsha Blackburn
Local Nashville, TN & Syndicated Conservative Talk Radio Show Host Phil Valentine
Amy Kremer – Tea Party Express
During Amy Kremer’s comments on stage, the chairman of Tea Party Express told the crowd that Obama and the feds had their priorities wrong. Some thing new and unusual for Obama and the gang that couldn’t shoot straight. I had a great conversation with Amy regarding what the Obama and his minions have done since they were elected in 2008 and the need for all to get out and vote in 2012 and end this Obama presidency and the damage that has been done to the US.
“We have illegal immigrants crossing our borders every day. They’re breaking the law,” she said to cheers. “The government’s not doing anything about it, but yet they’re concerned about these little pieces of wood that are coming into our country across our borders?”
First they came for my Gibson … what’s next?
Ben Cunningham of the Tennessee Tax Revolt – If you have never heard Ben speak about the abuses of an overreaching government … you have really missed out.

UPDATE I: Gibson Guitar CEO slams U.S. raids as “overreach”.
“Armed people came in our factory … evacuated our employees, then seized half a million dollars of our goods without any charges having been filed,” Gibson CEO Henry Juszkiewicz told reporters and others at a Washington lunch.
“I think it’s a clear overreach,” he said.

Search with Cadaver Dogs for Missing US Woman Robyn Gardner Turns Up Nothing in Aruba
Another search and still no clues …
A search with cadaver dogs in Aruba for the remains of missing 35 year old Robyn Gardner from Frederick, Maryland produced no resulted and no clues. Dogs searched through cactus and scrub brush, but found nothing. Robyn Gardner has been missing since August 2, 2011 when she was reported missing by her traveling companion Gary Giordano who stated that she was carried out to sea by currents while they snorkeled in the southern tip of Aruba. Giordano is presently being detained by Aruba police on suspicion in the death of Robyn Gardner.
“We have other lines of investigation,” he said.
The dogs searched a southeastern section of the Dutch Caribbean island known as Seroe Colorado. It is near the site where Gary Giordano reported 35-year-old Robyn Gardner of Frederick, Maryland, missing on Aug. 2.
Giordano, a businessman from Gaithersburg, Maryland, said she was carried away by currents while they snorkeled in the southern tip of the island.
Aruba Prosecutor Taco Stein said he was not concerned that the search did not yield any evidence. That is consistent, because Aruba was not all that concerned when searches did not yield any evidence or when there was new evidence in the disappearance of Natalee Holloway in Aruba in 2005.
Gary Giordano is presently being detained for 60 days while investigators seek evidence to charge him with Gardner’s presumed death. Aruba prosecutor Stein said that his office will seek to extend the detention order when it expires at the end of October.

Commitment to Excellence … NFL Oakland Raider Owner Al Davis Dies at Age 82 … JUST WIN BABY!!!
Al Davis, the long time owner of the “Silver & Black” Oakland Raiders has passed away at the age of 82. No cause of death was given. Davis was one of the true pioneers of the NFL, with his roots from the old AFL. Truly, one of the unique and rebellious individuals football has ever seen … Rest in Peace.
Al Davis: 1929 – 2011, Rest in Peace
Davis, the iconic owner of the “Silver & Black” was truly a breed apart, one in a million and did things his way. In 1963 at the age of 33 he became the coach and GM of the AFL’s struggling Oakland Raiders. However, his “Commitment to Excellence” and “Just Win Baby” attitude turned the misfortunes of the Raiders around and turned them into one of the best and most feared teams in NFL history. The NFL’s long time rebel has died.
Al Davis, the iconic owner of the Oakland Raiders, passed away Saturday, a senior-ranking team official confirmed. He was 82.
During Davis’ historic 48-year run with the Raiders, he won three Super Bowls and enjoyed 28 winning seasons, including a stretch of 16 from 1965 through the 1980.

Come out and support Gibson Guitar against the over reaching Obama government that would storm a US company with guns a blazing over wood and the Lacey Act.
The law ensnaring Gibson is the Lacey Act of 1900, originally passed to regulate trade in bird feathers used for hats and amended in 2008 to cover wood and other plant products
Federal agents first raided Gibson factories in November 2009 and were back again Aug. 24, seizing guitars, wood and electronic records. Gene Nix, a wood product engineer at Gibson, was questioned by agents after the first raid and told he could face five years in jail.
“Can you imagine a federal agent saying, ‘You’re going to jail for five years’ and what you do is sort wood in the factory?” said Mr. Juszkiewicz, recounting the incident. “I think that’s way over the top.” Gibson employees, he said, are being “treated like drug criminals.”
Mr. Nix hasn’t been accused of any wrongdoing. He couldn’t be reached for comment.
The Gibson Guitar CEO responded to the unjust raids today:
Henry Juszkiewicz, Chairman and CEO of Gibson Guitar Corp., has responded to the August 24 raid of Gibson facilities in Nashville and Memphis by the Federal Government. In a press release, Juszkiewicz said: “Gibson is innocent and will fight to protect its rights. Gibson has complied with foreign laws and believes it is innocent of ANY wrong doing. We will fight aggressively to prove our innocence.”
The raids forced Gibson to cease manufacturing operations and send workers home for the day while armed agents executed the search warrants. “Agents seized wood that was Forest Stewardship Council controlled,” Juszkiewicz said. “Gibson has a long history of supporting sustainable and responsible sources of wood and has worked diligently with entities such as the Rainforest Alliance and Greenpeace to secure FSC-certified supplies. The wood seized on August 24 satisfied FSC standards.”
Juszkiewicz believes that the Justice Department is bullying Gibson without filing charges.

President Barack Obama Hits New Low in Gallup Poll: 38% Approval … Obama’s September Approval Rating Remains at Term Low 41%
The more President Barack Obama whines about passing his so-called jobs bill, the more his approval rating continues to go down. According to the most recent Gallup poll, Obama is now at a 38% job approval. The Presidents approval rating has continuously been on the downward slide, it is almost impossible to miss the trend. Democrats like to use the comparison of Reagan and Clinton who had low poll ratings in their first term and later went on to win reelections. However, there is one important difference that they fail to mention, Reagan and Clinton were trending up … not down.
Obama Job Approval: Any one sense a trend?
Adding more to Obama’s polling woes, the President’s September approval ratings one for the records books, a term low of 41%. As seen by the below chart, Obama has serious problems with Independents, the very people who voted him into office, will note him out in 2012.

September 2001 Unemployment Rate Stays at 9.1%, 103K Jobs Created … 45,000 From Verizon
The September 2011 unemployment number is out and it is more of the same at 9.1%. According to the US Labor Department, 103,000 jobs were added in September with a but. Actually, with a big “but”. 45,000 of the 103,000 jobs came from the previously laid off Verizon workers who went back to work in September. This can hardly be looked at as a created job. Sorry.
Employers added 103,000 jobs in September, a modest burst of hiring after a sluggish summer. Still, job growth remains too weak to lower the unemployment rate, which stayed at 9.1 percent for the third straight month.
The Labor Department also said Friday that it has revised the previous two months to show that companies hired at a stronger pace than first estimated.
Employers have added an average of only 72,000 jobs in the past five months. The economy must create about twice as many consistently just to keep up with population growth.
No matter how one wants to look at job growth, it can be called nothing but anemic. Please do not tell us that President Obama is going to spin 9.1% as positive because it could have been 10% without his economic policies.
