Venezuela President Hugo Chavez in hospital ‘for kidney failure’

As reported at the UK Telegraph, Venezuela President Hugo Chavez is in the hospital in serious condition with kidney failure. Chavez has been battling cancer. PJ Media reports that the Chazez minions are denying the reports. Chavez’ peeps have denied many of the other illness and near death reports previously. Some have been accurate, some, not so much. The leftist, staunchly anti-US stalwart Chavez went into the Military Hospital in Caracas on Tuesday morning, the report on the newspaper’s website said, citing anonymous sources with knowledge of the case.

“He was in fairly serious overall condition,” a source told the Miami-based Spanish-language daily. “When he arrived, he was in quite serious shape and that is why he was brought in for emergency care.”

Venezuela’s Information Minister Andres Izarra appeared to deny the report in a posting on the micro-blogging website Twitter.

Al Qaeda Terrorist Cleric Anwar al-Awlaki Dead … Confirmed, the ‘FACEBOOK FRIEND FROM HELL’ Killed in Yemen

Al Qaeda terrorist cleric Anwar al-Awlaki won’t be down for breakfast. According to confirmed Yemen and US officials,  the American born cleric al-Awlaki has been killed in Yemen.  Anwar al-Awlaki has been linked to many terrorist attacks on the United States, including the Fort Hood Massacre,  the attempted Christmas Day underwear bombing and the Times Square bomb plot. Al-Awlaki was killed about 5 miles from the Yemeni town of Khashef, east of the capital city of Sanaa.

The American-born radical cleric al-Qaeda Anwar al-Awlaki, a major jihadist figure who U.S. officials say inspired several terror plots against the U.S., was killed overnight in Yemen, U.S. and Yemeni officials told ABC News.

A senior U.S. official told ABC News the U.S. had been tracking al-Awlaki for some time and had just been waiting for the perfect moment to strike. A Yemeni official said al-Awlaki was killed along with an unknown number of al Qaeda confederates, possibly in a drone strike.

As we like to say … “Good riddance to bad rubbish”. The folks at Wizbang second the motion. As reported at the Jawa Report, it was first reported that Yemeni forces were responsible for the killing of the American born traitor terrorist al-Awlaki; however, it is looking more like a US drone attack.

Born in Las Cruces, New Mexico, al-Awlaki lived in the United State until the age of seven when his family returned to Yemen. Al-Awlaki returned to the United States in 1991 for college and remained until 2002.

It was during that time that as an imam in California and Virginia, al-Awlaki preached to and interacted with three of the September 11 hijackers, according to the 9/11 Commission Report. He publicly condemned the attack afterward.

Democrat NC Gov. Perdue’s Office Said “Suspending Elections” was a Joke … Listen to Audio, Doen’t not Sound like a Joke

The other day it was reported that North Carolina Democrat Governor Bev Perdue stated that “elections should be suspended” for two years. Quickly her office put out the talking points that she was just making a joke and using hyperbole. Really? The Daily Caller has the audio of Perdue’s comment regarding the suspension of election. I guess that Perdue must work on her stand up comic delivery or at least provide a rim shot to emphasize the comedy.

“Listen to the Governor’s words: She wasn’t joking at all,” North Carolina GOP spokesman Rob Lockwood told The Daily Caller. “The congressional Democrats are wildly unpopular in North Carolina, so she may have been trying to invent a solution to save their jobs from public accountability.”

“If it was a joke, what was the set-up?,” Lockwood adds. “What was the punch-line? Where was the pause for laughter? It took them three hours to say it was a ‘joke,’ but when that flopped it became ‘hyperbole.’ We’ll just call it an unconstitutionally bad idea.”

When just 17% of the American people think that the  country is headed in the right direction and Democrats are headed for another 2010 shellacking in the 2012 elections, I bet those in the “Donkey” party want the elections to be suspended.

EXIT QUESTION: If Democrats are willing to suspend the US Constitution for elections, what else are they willing to suspend it for? I wonder if Democrats would be asking for the suspension of elections if they thought they were predicted to remain in power?

Herman Cain Says that Blacks Have Been Brainwashed into Voting for Democrats

Republican Presidential 2012 primary candidate Herman Cain says … African-Americans have been brainwashed into voting for Democrats. When a demographic supports the Democrat party with 95% of the vote, receives in return a record 17% unemployment and still unanimous supports the Democrat party … its hard to argue. Of course, had it been some other republican that made such a comment, they would have been branded as a racist.

The one African-American running for the GOP presidential nomination said Wednesday the black community was ‘brainwashed’ for traditionally siding with liberal politicians.

“African-Americans have been brainwashed into not being open minded, not even considering a conservative point of view,” Godfather’s Pizza executive Herman Cain said on CNN’s “The Situation Room” in an interview airing Wednesday between 5-7 p.m. ET. “I have received some of that same vitriol simply because I am running for the Republican nomination as a conservative. So it’s just brainwashing and people not being open minded, pure and simple.”

Weasel Zippers adds … replace “Jewish’ with “Blacks” and you have the same accurate statement. Agreed.

One has to wonder why Blacks put all of their eggs in one basket, in political terms it makes them irrelevant. You have one party that will not care to target them because they only receive 5% of the vote and you have another, in Democrats, that just take them for granted. At some point, even if its just to send a message to Democrats, blacks need to rethink their vote in order to be relevant. There is a reason why the Independent vote is courted … they are perceived to be open-minded.

26 Year Old Massachusetts Man, Rezwan Ferdaus Arrested for Terror Plot to Blow Up Capitol & Pentagon

A 26 year old Massachusetts nan, Rezwan Ferdaus, was arrested by the FBI in a terror plot to fly remote control airplanes loaded with C-4 into the Capitol and Pentagon. Ferdaus thought he was working with members of al Qaeda to obtain explosives; however, they were actually undercover FBI agents. Was Feradaus from Yemen, Saudi Arabia or Pakistan … nope, he was a US citizen and a home grown terrorist. Ferdaus was financially  well off and educated at Northeastern University with a graduate with a degree in physics. He began planning to commit violent “jihad” against the US in early 2010.

Ferdaus allegedly gave the undercover FBI agents a detailed set of attack plans “with step-by-step instructions as to how he planned to attack the Pentagon and Capitol,” according to the Department of Justice.

The plans focused on the use of three small remote-controlled drone-like aircraft loaded with C-4 plastic explosives, which he planned to fly into the Capitol and the Pentagon using GPS equipment, according to the DOJ.

Loks like some one has been busy, busy , busy to inflict terrorism upon the USA.

For the past five months, Ferdaus has allegedly been stockpiling the equipment he needed for his proposed attack, including a remote-controlled aircraft, 25 pounds of fake C-4 explosives, six automatic AK-47 assault rifles and three grenades, according to the DOJ. He allegedly kept all of it in a storage facility in Massachusetts, where he was arrested.

Ferdaus was also charged with attempting to provide material support and resources to a foreign terrorist organization — al Qaeda — in order to carry out attacks on U.S. soldiers stationed overseas, federal authorities said.

Ferdaus allegedly modified eight cellphones to act as detonation devices for improvised explosive devices, and gave them to the FBI agents to be used against American soldiers in Iraq.

North Carolina Democrat Gov. Beverly Perdue Says,”Hey, Let’s “Suspend” Elections Until We Fix America” … Oh, I was Just Kidding

SHE SAID WHAT …

North Carolina Governor Beverly Perdue stated at a Rotary Club meeting, “I think we ought to suspend, perhaps, elections for Congress for two years and just tell them we won’t hold it against them, whatever decisions they make, to just let them help this country recover.” Huh? Why would any one make a comment such as this where you would comment about suspending elections? American has gone through much worse, with all due respect to the Obama lying machine, than the present economic situation, like the Civil War, WWII, the Great Depression and the Carter years and as opined at Red State … the elections went forward.

File this in the random-things-politicians-say file. Speaking to a Cary Rotary Club today, N.C. Gov. Bev Perdue suggested suspending Congressional elections for two years so that Congress can focus on economic recovery and not the next election.

“I think we ought to suspend, perhaps, elections for Congress for two years and just tell them we won’t hold it against them, whatever decisions they make, to just let them help this country recover. I really hope that someone can agree with me on that,” Perdue said. “You want people who don’t worry about the next election.”

The comment — which came during a discussion of the economy — perked more than a few ears. It’s unclear whether Perdue, a Democrat, is serious — but her tone was level and she asked others to support her on the idea.

As stated at Weasel Zippers, upon hearing the Perdue comment, Obama was seen nodding his head like a bobble head doll. Why do we only hear about suspension of elections or a third term when a Democrat in President?

Later in the day when the comment became a “SHE SAID WHAT” moment, her office released the following statement … “Gov. Perdue was obviously using hyperbole to highlight what we can all agree is a serious problem: Washington politicians who focus on their own election instead of what’s best for the people they serve.” Sure, that’s exactly what she meant. HARDLY. How is referencing the suspension of elections and going against the US Constitution a joke or hyperbole?  How does a politician even joke about suspending elections when one of “We the People’s” biggest issues with government is they already have too much power and overstepped their Constitutional authority?

Just curious, why would Gov. Perdue make a comments regarding reelection rather than concentrate on the business at hand of helping fix the US economy. However, we are witness once again to a Democrat that is more concerned about reelection than the present economic nightmare. What’s the matter, afraid to do the right thing? Yet another gutless politician who is afraid they might not get reelected for making tough decisions.

EXIT THOUGHT: Rather than suspending elections, why don’t we just have term limits to all political offices, that will force politicians to do the right thing knowing that their political career is not a lifetime appointment. 71% of Americans believe in term limits, why doesn’t the political class do the will of the People?

Heckler Calls Obama “The Antichrist” At LA Fundraiser Then Dragged Out

Not every one thinks Barack Obama is the Obamamessiah. At a campaign fund raiser for Obama at the House of Blues in Los Angeles, CA, a heckler stood up and called Obama “the Anti-Christ”. He was then dragged out of the event, see pic at the Gateway Pundit.

“Jesus Christ is God! Jesus Christ is God! Jesus Christ is God! Jesus Christ is the son of God!” the man continued.

“You’re the antichrist!” the man said. The crowd responded with an enthusiastic cheer of “four more years” afterward.

“First of all, I agree Jesus Christ is the Lord. I believe in that,” Obama said to tepid applause.

As the man was dragged out of the even by the Secret Service he yelled, “Jesus Christ is God, Barack Obama is the antichrist!”

“[The] Christian God is the one and only true living God, the creator of heaven and the universe,” a bearded young man near the front of the space shouted after Obama took the stage, according to a pool report about the event.

Someone threw a jacket toward the stage and Obama, who had just been introduced by ABC “Modern Family” actor Jesse Tyler Ferguson, took it all in stride. “Is that his jacket?” Obama asked.
