CBS Says of Barack Obama … “It’s the most rapid increase in the debt under any U.S. president”

Hey America, how’s that Obama “Hopey, Changey” stuff working out for you? A historic election indeed …

Barack Obama was elected in 2008 in a historic election. Obama later made history and became the first president ever to hold the presidency during a downgrade of the American Triple A credit rating. Guess what, he has yet another historic moment to add to his resume. According to CBS News, the Treasury Department reports that the national debt has now increased $4 trillion on President Barack Obama’s Presidency.Interesting enough, Obama’s historical events cause the US economy to act hysterically.

The debt was $10.626 trillion on the day Mr. Obama took office. The latest calculation from Treasury shows the debt has now hit $14.639 trillion.

It’s the most rapid increase in the debt under any U.S. president.

The national debt increased $4.9 trillion during the eight-year presidency of George W. Bush. The debt now is rising at a pace to surpass that amount during Mr. Obama’s four-year term.

As Doug Ross says, when Obama has lost CBS, you know you have problems. How much longer is the public going to take the repeated excuses of blaming others? It does not look like much longer as Obama’s job approval ratings have hit an all-time low. Two pieces of information for Obama. One, when you beg people to vote for you for a job that no one twisted your arm or forces you to run for when you knew the difficulties that you faced, you don’t then blame others when your policies are a complete and total failure. Two, if you are complaining about what you inherited, imagine what the next President is going to inherit from your four years.

2012 cannot come fast enough and it is frightening that this president has another year and a half to cause more damage.

UPDATE I: New national debt data: It’s growing about $3 million a minute, even during his vacation.

Updated numbers for the national debt are just out: It’s now $14,639,000,000,000.

When Barack Obama took the oath of office twice on Jan. 20, 2009, CBS’ amazing number cruncher Mark Knoller reports, the national debt was $10,626,000,000,000.

That means the debt that our federal government owes a whole lot of somebodies including China has increased $4,247,000,000,000 in just 945 days. That’s the fastest increase under any president ever.

Wisconsin Republican Congressman Paul Ryan Says He Wil Not Run for President in 2012

Its official, after many months of speculation, US Representative Paul Ryan (WI-R) has decided that he will not run for President in 2012. With so many others dipping their toe in the political GOP Presidential field but not yet committing like former Alaska Gov.  Sarah Palin, former NY Gov. George Pataki, NJ Gov. Chris Christie, the fiscal conservative Ryan has decided not to run, this time.

Wisconsin congressman Paul Ryan has decided for a final time that he will not run for president in 2012, THE WEEKLY STANDARD has learned. Ryan, who began seriously considering a bid in late May after Indiana governor Mitch Daniels took himself out of the race, had consulted with top Republicans, including Karl Rove and Frank Luntz, as he contemplated his political future. And though many of those he talked with told him he would be a viable candidate in such a fluid race, even as a late entry, Ryan ultimately decided to continue his focus on debt and entitlement reform as chairman of the House Budget Committee

However, the 41 year old Paul Ryan has his entire political career ahead of him. He is is economic and debt cutting expert of the GOP who had the courage to put forth a plan and show leadership to take paying down the debt head on. Something that even the POTUS has not done. I am a fan of Paul Ryan and look for him to run for President in the not too distant future. However, I tend to think, as does the Lonely Conservative, that Ryan’s best place for the GOP and the USA is in the House. This is a good call on Ryan’s part, he has some unfinished business with America’s long term debt burden and after the 2012 election, his efforts to make the US fiscally responsible will make him a star.

For Ryan, being president has never been a lifelong ambition. His consideration of a presidential bid came not because of any desire to be president and, in many respects, came in spite of his inclinations against one. Ryan has hoped that he might play the role of Jack Kemp to the next Ronald Reagan.

Let’s just say this … the GOP stable of future Presidential candidates is packed. The list includes, Paul Ryan, Virginia Gov. Bob McDonnell, New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, Nikki Haley – Governor of South Carolina,  and US Senator Marco Rubio, FL are the future of the GOP. And what a future.

The Golfer in Chief: Barack Obama Skips the 8th Hole to Avoid TV Cameras & Photographers on Martha’s Vineyard

GOLFING TRANSPARENCY … HOW PRESIDENTIAL

Barack Obama’s White House minions have defended his vacation to Martha’s Vineyard, even as millions of Americans are out of work, out of their homes and cannot vacation. WH spokesperson Jay Carney went so far to say, that the President is never really on a vacation.Really? Just curious, why did Obama feel the need to avoid cameras of him golfing … well, most at least, as he could not avoid them all.

If that is true and Obama thinks there is nothing wrong with taking a vacation as the US sinks into what looks like a double dip recession, why did Obama feel the need to skip the 8th hole during his round of golf to avoid TV cameras and photographers? However, Obama certainly had no issue with photographers taking pics of him, making him look presidential and appearing to do work while living it up for the third year in a row on vacation on Martha’s Vineyard.

However, the Boston Globe reported that when Obama [on Friday] approached “the eighth tee in a golf cart with friend and frequent golfing buddy Eric Whitaker,” he “noticed three TV cameras and a Globe photographer across the street. Rather than stop and be photographed teeing off, the president skipped the hole.”

So, while the White House has been releasing photos showing the vacationing President in a serious frame of mind – like the photograph it released on Friday, showing a solemn-faced Obama in discussion with his counterterrorism adviser, …

Obviously, Obama, his staff and his minions think that the President playing golf is the wrong image. Otherwise they would not mind pics and video being taken. If that is the case, they question that needs to be asked is … WHY DOES HE CONTINUE TO DO IT!!! Obama knoes its wrong, but does it anyhow, nice.

Barack Obama wants to avoid pics of him golfing as Americans struggle and the economy continues to flounder … but he certainly has no problem using the image of dead US Navy Seals to his political advantage after Obama stated there would be no media or photo-ops.  Is it any wonder why Obama’s job approval rating has plummeted to an all-time low. But don’t worry America, he is so concerned with the US economy that he will give yet another speech, after his more important vacation is done.

Robyn Gardner Missing in Aruba … New Witness Disputes Gary Giordano’s Claims that they Went Snorkeling Day She Disappeared

Robyn Gardner has been missing in Aruba since August 2, 2011. Her travel companion Gary Giordano’s told Aruba police that she went missing while they were snorkeling near Baby Beach.  However, according to the LE Giordano’s stories have been inconsistent. Giordano is presently being held in an Aruba jail as a suspect in the disappearance of Robyn Gardner.

According to a new witness who has come forward, they dispute the story that Gary Giordano has told regarding the fact that the two went snorkeling. The witness says that he was fishing the day that Giordano claims that he and Gardner were snorkeling. He states that the two walked on the beach, but never went into the water.

The witness says he was fishing on a beach on that day and he saw the two take a walk along the reef around 4 p.m., but they never went in the water.

A short time later, the couple drove away and he never saw either of them again, the witness says.

“If this witness ends up being accurate and correct as to locations of both Mr. Giordano and Ms. Gardner, it’s yet another piece of evidence that’s inconsistent with his story,” said ABC News consultant Brad Garrett, a former FBI agent.

22 Year Old Katelyn Markham Missing Since August 13, 2011 in Fairfield, Ohio

22 year old Katelyn Markham has been missing since last Saturday, August 13, 2011 in Fairfield, Ohio when she didn’t show up for work.  Markham is 5’3″ and 130 pounds with green eyes and brown hair with blond highlights. Katelyn Markham’s fiance, John Carter, called the police on 8/14/11 to report her missing.  Carter also said in his 911 call, “A Sacred Heart Festival is going on right up the street, and there are a lot of questionable people there.” Katelyn’s fiancé stated that he last saw her around 11:30 Saturday night, after he left her town home on Dorshire Drive.

Markham’s fiancee, John Carter, called police on Sunday, Aug. 14 to report her missing.

“I know you’re not suppose to report a missing person before 24 hours, but my fiancee is missing and I can’t find her anywhere,” he said in the call.

Carter last saw Markham on Saturday night. He says they were discussing a possible move to Colorado.

Police suspect foul play in the disappearance of Katelyn Markham.Police released the 911 call of Katelyn’s disappearance. Police search the home of missing Katelyn Markham for clues.

“Basically, it’s just going over the apartment more thoroughly and just looking for anything that might give us an indication of what happened to Ms. Markham and possibly where she might be – just anything we could find,” Haddix said.

Fairfield police secured Markham’s house Wednesday and canvassed the neighborhood again to see if witnesses may have seen or heard anything early Sunday when Markham vanished. They also checked a nearby river, finding nothing.

Two Men Shot, One Beaten at Candlestick Park NFL Pre-Season Game Between San Francisco 49ers & Oakland Raiders

What  is going on at California sporting events this year … more fans assaulted while attending events?

Two men were shot outside  of  Caddlestick Park in San Fransisco during an NFL preseason game  between the SF 49ers and Oakland Raiders. Also, another man was beaten unconscious inside a stadium restroom with life threatening injuries. The police are treating its as separate shootings but they believe the incidents are related. Police said they took a man off  man in a Raiders jersey off a party bus before it left the stadium and are calling him a suspect. The suspect in the beating is said to be a male Samoan/Pacific Islander, 25 to 30 years old, 6-feet-3 to 6-feet-5, and 225 to 260 pounds. The beating suspect also had a goatee and long curly hair tied in a pony tail and was last seen wearing a T-shirt and bluejeans.

San Francisco police said one victim, a 24-year-old man wearing a T-shirt referring to the 49ers with an obscenity, suffered life-threatening injuries and a 20-year-old man was hospitalized with less serious wounds.

SFPD Sgt. Frank Harrell said that the 24-year-old was shot two to four times in the stomach. He drove his truck to a gate and stumbled to security, Harrell said.

The other man was shot before that in the parking lot and had superficial face injuries, Harrell said.

According to police there were several fights in the stands (VIDEO) during the game. What the hell is going on in the stands these days before, during and after sporting events? People attending games and assaulting others, shooting them and beating them unconscious. Makes one really want to attend or bring their family doesn’t it? Police continue to look for suspects. Oh by the way, if it matters, the 49ers beat the Raiders 17-3.

It was earlier this year at Opening Day of MLB at Dodger Stadium when SF Giant fan Bryan Stow was beaten within an inch of his life and currently remains in the hospital with what is most likely permanent brain damage.

Teen Sexting Ring Busted in Milton, VT … Don’t These Teens Understand This is Child Porn, the State Doesn’t?

TEENS GET MULLIGAN FOR SEXTING AND CHILD PORN IN VT …

Twenty two high school students in Milton, VT find themselves in big trouble as the police have busted a high school sexting ring.  The students are between the age of 14 and 17 and used school issued laptops to view pics  of nude and partially nude adolescent girls. GOOD GRIEF. When will teens ever learn that actions have consequences? Who thinks up such an elaborate scheme for sexting and disseminating porn. Then again, who is so stupid to go along with it?

You know why teens don’t think their actions have consequences? Ask the enablers in the liberal, socialist Republic of Vermont  that finds it more important to pass gay marriage than they do to hand out punishment and charges for what has to be considered child pornography. Why would Vermont police waste their time, money and energy if they were not going to press charges?

The Milton Police Department said in a statement Wednesday that after investigating the sexting ring for six months, the case was now closed and that none of the juveniles would face criminal charges.

Is Kadaffi’s End Near in Libyia? Rebels Say They Have Captured Qaddafi’s Son

It would appear that Moammar Qaddafi’s days are numbered in Libya. Libyan rebels are saying that they have captured  Qaddafi’s son in Tripoli and arrested him. Fox News is reporting that Libyan rebels are within two miles of the center of  Tripoli. The recent battles to take Tripoli have killed up to 1300.

Mohamad al Akari, a Transitional National Council advisor, said that if Moammar Gadhafi is still in Tripoli, they believe he is in Bab al Aziziya.

“Tonight it’s over,” Akari said.

Libyan rebel forces are now in Green Square in the heart of Tripoli, according to multiple reports.

Earlier today, rebel forces pushed into the western outskirts of the Libyan capital without meeting any resistance. The rebels reached Janzour, a Tripoli suburb, around nightfall today and were greeted by civilians waving rebel flags.

The BBC is reporting that Moammar Gadhafi has fled to Algeria, although not yet confirmed. More from the BBC on the rebels moving into Tripoli.

Good riddance to bad rubbish, although let’s hope the end game and transition of power is not a complete mess in a post Qaddafi world. As Qaddafi’s regime crumbles this looks like it could really get out of control. I hardly think its safe for journalists to be there right now.

The claims come as rebels make rapid advances into the centre of Tripoli, meeting scenes of jubilation and no resistance from Gaddafi’s troops along the way.

Sky’s special correspondent Alex Crawford, accompanying the rebels, said as opposition fighters entered the city, their cars gridlocked the roads and hundreds of people came out onto the streets to greet them.

The rebels responded with celebratory gunfire, she said.

Democrat US Representative Maxine Waters seems to have no problem in going against Barack Obama’s request for a change of tone in Washington, DC. At a jobs event over the weekend, Watters said, “I’m not afraid of anybody.” “This is a tough game. You can’t be intimidated. You can’t be frightened. And as far as I’m concerned, the ‘tea party’ can go straight to hell.”

Big words from the ethically challenged SWAMP QUEEN. How come Maxine Watters was not willing to fight for jobs when the Democrats controlled the House, Senate and Presidency? Where was she then? Oh that’s right, too busy destroying the economy and jobs with the $787 billion stimulus package and Obamacare. 

The event occurred a day after new statistics were released showing that California’s jobless rate last month went up to 12%, from 11.8%.  California now has the second-highest rate of unemployment in the nation, trailing only Nevada at 12.9%, and its jobless rate is well above the U.S. average of 9.1%.

Waters vowed to push Congress to focus on creating more jobs. “I’m not afraid of anybody,” said Waters. “This is a tough game. You can’t be intimidated. You can’t be frightened. And as far as I’m concerned, the ‘tea party’ can go straight to hell.”

More than 1,000 people attended “Kitchen Table Summit,” which was designed to give the jobless an opportunity to vent to elected officials and share their struggles about finding a job.

So let’s understand this, the event was nothing more than a “bitch-fest” rather than any kind of jobs summit that would be beneficial for people to make themselves more marketable to gain employment? Really? There’s a plan put forth by Democrats.

With the comments that Watters has made regarding jobs, I wonder why she has not done Obama to do the same? It has been Obama who has failed the economy and made promises of job creation that have been en epic fail except to increase the debt. Sorry, Maxine and her ilk have no one but Obama and their own pathetic, misguided policies of job creation to blame.
