Alan Grayson Wants to Run for Office Again … Wonder Who He Will Accuse Republicans of Killing Next?

I guess Alan Grayson did not get the message in 2010 when he as voted out of office in a landslide. It would appear that Alan Grayson wants to run again. Its a free country, he is certainly entitled to run and lose again.  Sorry, but Grayson is the poster child for everything that voters do not want. However, if that is the best Democrats have in Florida, as stated by Jammie Wearing Fool … “Bring It”.  This Congressman was such a loud mouth clod that even Democrats did not vote for him in 2010.

WFTV learned on Monday that former U.S. Congressman Alan Grayson is running for office again.

On Monday, Grayson said he doesn’t plan to do anything different. He said he’s running again because of all the people who have reached out and asked him to. Grayson already raised nearly $100,000 in donations before filing his paperwork on Monday.

“We need somebody who’s gonna stick up for what’s right. Somebody with guts,” Grayson said.

$100,000 in donations? It just goes to show that some moonbats just have no regard for greenbacks. Who on earth would actually donate to this man’s campaign? However, who knows what district that he will even be running in. Maybe he would have a chance in Pinellas county? After all, if 12 jurors could find Casey Anthony “not guilty”, they might actually also believe Grayson’s BS.

I guess Grayson will have bumper stickers and pins that say, “Republicans want to kill _______ (fill in the blank). How delusional are these folks? Grayson lost in a landslide and he thins it will get better in 2012?

Michelle Obama Chows Down on 1,700 Calorie Meal at Shake Shack

Once again we are witness to do as a say, not as I do from first lady Michelle Obama.

You know how one loses credibility when they try and tell others to eat health and dictate what you can and cannot eat? Maybe when you are caught chowing down a 1700 calorie meal at a Shake Shack. How does Michelle Obama fight a war on obesity to tell parents what their children must eat and then publicly wolf down a 1700 calorie meal? Can you say hypocrisy?

First lady Michelle Obama ordered a whopper of a meal at the newly opened Washington diner Shake Shack during lunch on Monday.

A Washington Post journalist on the scene confirmed the first lady, who’s made a cause out of child nutrition, ordered a ShackBurger, fries, chocolate shake and a Diet Coke while the street and sidewalk in front of the usually-packed Shake Shack were closed by security during her visit.

The very individual who wants the “food police” to monitor “the little people” says that its now ok to binge on a 1700 calorie meal in moderation. Really? It’s too bad, but that is not what your message is to “We the People”. As opined by The Lonely Conservative, we could care less what Michelle Obama eats. I could care less whether she has a salad or a chili cheese dog. However, the second you start dictating to other what they must eat … be prepared to be hounded as to everything you put in your mouth. In this case, it was your foot.

BTW, you might want to pay more attention to what your hubby eats, rather then us. It would appear the second he is out of your sight, he forgets what you say as well. Then again, Michelle pays no attention to Barack either, as she skipped out of eating her peas.

Ahmed Wali Karzai, the Half-Brother of Afghanistan’s President Hamid Karzai, Assassinated By His own Security – Taliban Takes Credit

Ahmed Wali Karzai,  the half brother of  Afghanistan’s president  Hamid Karzai, has been shot dead by one of his long time bodyguards. The Taliban has taken credit for the assassination. Ahmed Wali Karzai was shot twice by his long time head of security Sardar Mohammed, who was himself killed almost immediately. This should add some further instability to an already unstable situation in Afghanistan.

One of his bodyguards shot him on Tuesday at his house, a heavily-fortified compound in Kandahar city, Zalmay Ayoubi, spokesperson for the governor of Kandahar province said.

“A guard of Ahmed Wali Karzai named Sardar Mohammad opened fire and killed him. The other guards shot and killed Sardar Mohammad,” Mr Ayoubi said. The motive for the shooting was not immediately clear.

President Karzai held a press conference in Kabul:

In retrospect, for the jury in the murder trial of Casey Anthony in the death of 2 year old Caylee Anthony, it was as simple as Sesame Street. Every one remembers the age old part of the show, One of these things is not like the others, One of these doesn’t belong. same. America knows which one doesn’t belong, did the Casey Anthony jury?

52% of Likely US Voters think President Obama is More Liberal than They Are

More bad polling data for President Barack Obama and the 2012 elections. A recent Rasmussen poll states that 52% of likely US voters believe that Obama is more liberal than they are.What is most telling from this polling data is that 55% of Independents believe Obama is more liberal than they are. However, as referenced by Weasel Zippers, could some one provide the names of the 17% of individuals who call themselves Republicans that do not think Obama is more liberal?

Just 15% feel the president is politically more conservative than they are, the highest level measured to date. Twenty-six percent (26%) believe the president’s ideology is about the same as their own.

Eighty-three percent (83%) of Republicans think the president is more liberal than they are. Among Democrats, a plurality (49%) say they share a similar ideology to the president, 26% say he is more conservative than they are, and 20% say he is more liberal. A majority (55%) of voters not affiliated with either major political party believe the president is more liberal than they are.

Way to Go TSA … Stun Gun Found Abord JetBlue Plane that Landed at New Jersey’s Newark Liberty International Airport from Boston’s Logan Airport

Things that make you go, hmm.

The TSA has egg on their face as a stun gun was found aboard a JetBlue plane at New Jersey’s Newark Liberty International Airport. The weapon was found after the plane had landed in Newark, flight 1179 that departed from Boston’s Logan International Airport.

The crew discovered what they deemed to be a suspicious object in a seatback pocket while cleaning the plane. So how did the TSA miss this during the screening process? I guess they were too busy fondling little boys and girls and making elderly grandma’s with cancer remove their diapers in the name of security.

Authorities are trying to determine how a stun gun got aboard a JetBlue plane that landed at New Jersey’s Newark Liberty International Airport.

The crew was cleaning up after the 10:20 p.m. flight arrived from Boston on Friday and found the stun gun tucked into the back of a seat.

Port Authority spokesman Steve Coleman tells The Star-Ledger of Newark it’s not clear who the weapon belonged to or how it got on the plane. Coleman says there’s no indication the weapon had been fired.

Port Authority police turned the stun gun over to the Transportation Security Administration. Why, to provide an example to the TSA of what they should actually be screening for?

US Senator Mitch McConnell (KY-R) Raises Concern Over Civilian Terror Trials in Light of Casey Anthony Acquittal

Imagine if the Casey Anthony jury was put in charge of judging a terror suspect?

Who would ever have thought that we would be using the words Casey Anthony and terrorism in the same sentences? However, after the debacle that occurred in Orlando, FL following the head scratching verdict of the jury of “not guilty” on all major charges in the murder trial of Casey Anthony, that is exactly what has transpired. US Senator Mitch McConnell (KY-R) said on Fox News Sunday that the acquittal in the Casey Anthony murder trial is exactly the reason why terror suspects cannot be tried in civilian court.

Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell pointed to the acquittal of Casey Anthony as an example of why the U.S. civilian court system should not be trusted to try terror suspects.

Anthony, the Florida mother charged with killing her 2-year-old daughter Caylee in 2008, was found not guilty Tuesday on all charges except lying to investigators. Becoming perhaps the first lawmaker to do so, McConnell drew a lesson Sunday from that case in connection with the debate in Washington over whether to try suspected terrorists in federal courts.

President Barack Obama and Attorney General Eric Holder had previously stopped the military tribunals of KSM and other terror suspects to instead try these cases in NYC. Of course we know how that ended as a hue and cry went up through the United States and New York City that no such trial should ever take place in the shadows of Ground Zero and a civilian court. Eventually, Obama/Holder pulled the plug on it.

However, McConnell and other Republicans were outraged this past week after the Obama administration moved to charge a Somali terror suspect in civilian court in New York. We just learned by the verdict in the Casey Anthony case that juries are as much of a crap shoot as the reliability of a terrorist underwear bomb.  What would happen if a terrorist’s attorney played the same games as Casey Anthony’s defense team and the jurors ignored prosecutors evidence and decided to more accept defense theories of a crime instead?

The question is no longer just whether terrorist should be provided the benefits of the US Constitution by being tried in civilian court, what also must be looked at is whether a jury could actually be capable of judging such a case. What will happen when defense council in opening statements says that the terrorist committed the act and killed American because he was molested by George Anthony and that the individual killed by a road side bomb or detonated bomb vest actually died from drowning in a pool? Will the jury find the terrorist not guilty of murder and only find them guilty of lesser charges of littering or destruction of property? After all, it was not the terrorist who did the computer searches of how to make a bomb … it was really done by Cindy Anthony.

Does America really want to take their chances with terror suspects and guilty beyond a reasonable doubt? A note to Eric Holder, you might want to scratch Pinellas County off the list of jurisdictions to hold any civilian trial.
